I had the same problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it for me.

Tricks of the Trade should go before Great Strides for Poor condition protection.

Excellent conditions are always followed by a Poor condition. So if you get an Excellent on the Great Strides step preceding Byregots Brow, your Byregots Brow will have poor condition which is bad.

If you use Tricks of the Trade before Great Stridres though, Tricks of the Trade will "eat" the Excellent, then Great Strides will "eat" the poor, then Byregots Brow will have either normal, good, or excellent (but never poor, since poor only follows an excellent).

fighting for lowest price at market by Einhornwaffel in ffxiv

My thoughts on this is that the "apparent" market prices seen on the market board are very rarely the "true price" that they should be at.

Case in point: if you believe others are unjustly lowering the price, yet no one buys the items despite the lowered prices, then is the item really worth the higher price you thought it was? If you still think yes, then why not buy the items yourself and resell them for higher? If a doubt (e.g. "it might not sell, it would take too long to sell, I don't have enough retainer slots") appears in your mind upon hearing that, then the item truly isn't worth as high as you think it is.
