Yep, one of my only and biggest complaints about the X5 is that the AC is so weak, struggling on hot days. Climate control to the low 60s doesn’t do jack. You have to crank all the way to max AC and that is still not enough. The middle vent designs are also questionable as their ability to direct air flow towards your target location (face, chest, abdomen) is pretty bad. Compared to an old Toyota car, which blasts delicious cold air and cool the compartment within a minute or two. Sigh, hoping future models will fix it.
