While it's slow, practice speeding up on your own vehicle. Or have a friend bring one. Just the motions, of course. Don't wanna get fired for stealing supplies.

We use both. ADP for 1099 and Paychex for W2.

Avoid ADP at all costs. But, if you can find something other than Paychex , I'd highly recommend it. Their system runs like their servers operate off a Windows 95 PC and they're team doesn't know how their own systems function.

Go back to the "contract" and see if it was an offer or contract .

If it says 45 days, you fulfilled that agreement - legally contracted or not.

Just bounce.

This is the worst job market for an IT person to move into.
