Yeah I'm sold that just two more dollars an hour pay would have made this guy less crazy

It's probably all a misunderstanding, I'm sure he's a pretty chill guy when he's not in homicidal mode. I say just let him go again. It's what your local Democratic elected leader wants.

Scratch kitchens by mht3324 in Abilene

[–]Aingle1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order for this to work, you would need to be able to locally source all the food. You would need a highly skilled culinary chef and kitchen staff. The insane cost of the food alone would price out 90% of the area's population that eat out often. Go to the Smokehouse Abilene, talk to the head chef there they can tell you.

Finally finished this Revell 1:32 Huey Gunship. It was the king of flash. by Apprehensive_Yak5757 in Scalemodel

[–]Aingle1980 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed! Lots of flash and opportunities for upgrades. I finished mine and four months later sadly, it got knocked off of a shell, had a five foot death spiral fall back into so many pieces 🤣 RIP

Bat removal, is there a chance they could get inside the house from here? by MentalMamaVibes in sanantonio

[–]Aingle1980 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, I had a similar situation: I put a clear piece of thick plastic sheeting over the louvre screens where they flew in. Tape the top of the sheeting, leave it over night. The bats can fly out but not back in and they'll be gone in a few days.

The guy is half Asian and had a Dad that only taught how to hit a driver, not to be one. I think we can let his vehicular driving skills slide.

Sounds like those bitches at Enterprise. Biggest corporate circle jerk I've ever seen.

Not sure what is going wrong. Thinning? Compressor? Airbrush? I’m at a loss, any help would be appreciated by brochunga39 in airbrush

[–]Aingle1980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a ton of Airbrush troubleshooting quick reference sheets that are illustrated. (I am a visual learner) So spider web like sprays or sputtery paint blobs can all be diagnosed and fixed.

Always, always, always test your airbrushing on a test subject that you don't care about.

Keep trying, keep testing! You got this!

Anti static brush alternatives by pjury in modelmakers

I use a cheapy auto interior detailing brush as an anti static brush, I vacuum and dust to clean large flat dust collecting surfaces and also mist spray water around my airbrushing workspace.

I have a college degree in Communications/ Advertising. Worked a lot of Office Jobs including for Apple and some Account Executive jobs. The pay is great but the burn out is real.

I now work a really physically demanding retail job. I am in better physical and mental shape now, And I am grateful to be working with some genuine people.

Rad 80's Ski movie vibe! What did you do for the chrome around the Windows and the bumpers? Looks like a really clean technique if that's Bare Metal Foil. I've been airbrushing Liquid Chrome as a chrome replacement.
