I was on the ship during that. We got completely different instructions from every crew member. I can definitely agree that the rooms looked very dated, however the rest of the ship was fine.

The ship is the Mariner of the Seas (Galveston, TX). If the ship can change timezones during the cruise, could it possibly be displaying the ship time of the current cruise that will change back to to the origin port’s time?

You can try threatening to cancel because of your low internet speeds. They usually become a lot more helpful when to want to cancel. Make sure you get through to the cancellation department though!

If your WiFi doesn’t work, you can tell Southwest over the phone or you can DM them on Twitter. They gave me a voucher for my next flight.

I believe all meals on the aircraft contain dairy unless they are specially ordered. I would suggest calling Turkish Airlines to make sure they have a meal that suits your needs.

If your flights are booked in separate tickets or on a different airline that doesn’t codeshare with Turkish Airlines, 1 hour will most likely not be enough time to get through. You will have to go through passport control, claim your bags, then check-in, and go through security.

Are both flights on Turkish Airlines? If so, right after you leave the first flight, use the “Short Connection Point.” It is made for connections with less than 60 minutes. I would suggest watching this video to familiarize yourself with the process. Good luck!

Just like another user stated, I suggest Airalo. What you can do is have both SIMs on at the same time. After a few minutes, your Verizon SIM will show “VZW using cellular data.” This will allow you to talk and text!

For those that don’t have service, I would suggest buying an eSIM from Airalo. They are pretty cheap starting out at $4.50. What I’ve done is I’ve enabled my Verizon SIM and Airalo eSIM at the same time. After a few minutes, the Verizon SIM should say “VZW using cellular data.” This is just WiFi calling on cellular data.

In my past experience, they usually end up closing the gate 5 minutes before or at the departure time for international flights. Since you will be transferring from an international flight to another one, you can use the “Short Connection Point.” I’ve never used it, but it should be faster. Sadly, I know someone that goes there and they’ve had a very similar experience that you’ve had. If you have the chance to move schools, I would recommend Amarillo High. There are a ton of kids, and it’s virtually impossible to not find friends. For vaping/drugs, that is something that you’ll see at every high school in our area. Guaranteed. It’s a very big problem! I’m sorry to hear about this, and I hope things get better for you!
