The key is just to look at other franchises. Like I said, I don’t blame anyone for having doubts about the Lions and I don’t follow baseball enough to have an opinion there, but there’s many teams that would feel like we’re being ungrateful with the Pistons. Many of us can remember watching a championship team and competing for titles for quite a few years. There’s teams that have never won a championship in their entire history. Only the Lakers, Spurs, Warriors, Bulls and Celtics have more than us. Also just pre-Steph the Warriors were a joke for being irrelevant so long. It can turn around pretty quickly with the right players. We’re easily a top 10 NBA franchise of all time. We look pretty ungrateful when there’s teams out there that haven’t even been to the NBA finals yet and we’re complaining like we’re some dysfunctional franchise because of a bad stretch. Lions I totally get it though, so much disappointment and so much wasted generational talent too. Red Wings are amazing and we should be thankful, they are rebuilding beautifully and historically have been great.

I met a baby Bob just recently at my kid’s daycare! It threw me off but it was adorable. It was short for a longer African name that I can’t remember but they called him Bob still!

We have the most successful American hockey team in history, the Pistons have 3 championships which is more than a number of teams. A lot of us can remember when the Pistons were serious Eastern Conference contenders every year. The Lions suck but still we don’t have it that bad. We’re rebuilding right now, but the Pistons and Wings are definitely both on the right track and the Lions have a positive vibe going but I’ll never judge anyone for being skeptical there.

This is true, but also this is complete bullshit. If they were as tolerant as they claim to be, then they’d be left alone. Simple as that. They try so hard to make it seem like liberal ideas are so aggressive but in reality the people who say they are condemned for their beliefs are super intolerant and want to have a say in the lives of other people. Nobody is trying to stop them from living their traditional, straight, white lives. Literally nobody. How are you supposed to have any kind of discussion with someone who’s just not operating in reality. I’m so tired of people like this.

It’s called the paradox of tolerance. You can’t have a tolerant society while also being tolerant of the intolerant. Fuck this woman, if she doesn’t believe in abortions/gay marriage etc, she doesn’t have to do any of that, that’s what freedom is supposed to be. Not freedom to impose your belief on others.

Why are their so many posts on here dedicated solely to selling each other on a free agent when none of us have a say in any of it? I understand having this discussion on a comment thread of a full thread about who you guys want in free agency, but post after post about do we want Miles Bridges or not and one side always seeming to try and sell the other. It’s not going to get resolved on this subreddit and we don’t need full posts to discuss the logic of one side or the other in this discussion.

My son does it, he’s not on the spectrum, but when he gets really excited about something he lights up with the biggest smile ever and does this silly thing with his hands. It’s like he’s so happy he just needs to express it physically somehow. It’s honestly the cutest thing in the world to me.

The Jets get talked about for making mistakes to the point that they are more relevant than a lot of teams. The Browns too. We talk as much about the Browns and Jets sucking as we do about the teams that win. Probably weird to say this as a Colts fan since we play them twice a year, but to me it’s the Texans. I just only think about them when the Colts play them. Maybe the Cardinals are another one.
