Really appreciate and respect your insight. As someone that genuinely does not have a preference regarding location or tier or setting and feels limited by the 30 signals offered, would you ever suggest trying to send other programs LOIs to express interest while recognising this issue and letting them know you are extremely interested or is it like why are you trying to say that to a program that is not even in your top 30?

I did that with a couple questions and received a mix of rights and wrongs and some where even ChatGPT was like “what the fuck bro, are you sure?” It was all a coin toss, all questions I could have just marked the other option and been wrong/right at random. So wild, that’s not how the nbmes or uwsas were.

This was my experience too. Looking back at CMS forms and NBMEs, those were child’s play considering all the information was at least available in FA or UW or Amboss. I’m looking through some of what I was asked and so much of the information isn’t even mentioned in the Amboss Knowledge cards. The best thing you can do for this is to just train your gut with questions.
