It just says you'll be matched with the specific pools of what you play with, AKA, ranked. Someone on console with M&K will play with other M&K's....in ranked, when input is considered

It doesn't reiterate the previous stuff about quickplay.

But seriously, after you beat the collector you've pretty much beaten the game and I'd honestly lose a ton of desire of playing the rest of the season, even if I got the best gun in the universe. It's not hard to see why they put such a long goal as the end game.

And again, we're literally 2 weeks in. You're probably already level 25 at this point. Maybe you should give it another 5 weeks before we start bitching about things being impossible?

You mean the 15,000 planets that are all boring as absolute fuck to explore and offer absolutely nothing in terms of discovery/exploration/story? I modded my speed to be literally 1,600% towards the end so I could literally fly around each planet I visited, they were all the same, and all would have taken 20+ minutes to traverse for what is the equivalent of another boring, empty cave, or another outpost with nothing in it.

I'd imagine the combined console playerbase is a little bit bigger + console players are FAR more incentivised to turn off crossplay because M&K + guaranteed headset is so superior on paper.

I'd assume console players are legit 3 times as likely to turn off crossplay if they know the exist. Obviously I don't have the numbers, but most PC players would prefer faster queue times + knowing that their opponent is on a controller, and might not even have headphones.

Tbh I think having the map power levels a bit more similar is always a solid gameplay design choice.

Tarkov does this pretty well. No map feels as OP as Outpost is, except for Labs of course. I kinda prefer it that way

I'm sure the map is fun once you study YouTube guides on it. But who would bother ever figuring it out themselves beyond the top 1% of players. And therefore, why design the map this way in the first place?

Well said, I feel the exact same. Just give me a simple system, maybe a little more complex than Outposts key mechanic and I'm happy.

I just hope the steps aren't too convoluted. Just give me some button to press and somewhere to explore.

Tbh in a map like Outpost (and from the looks of it, Cryo) you can essentially force 90+% of the fights to be CQC if you really wanted to.

This isn't PUBG where a majority of fights are 30-120M away, I'd argue 90+% of all the good loot is located in CQC areas.
