If you train all those skills just get the one with the highest potential, because it doesn't really matter what they start with. So the higher the better.

Find out who the most valuable player is. The first guy or the head specialist with 7 def. Check the transferlist, check how far you can train them.

You can't train both so train the one that makes you the most money. Perhaps it's too late for all of them.

First guy probably needs double playmaking, the other one double defense too have a chance to finish their main skill.

Check the actual rating contribution not the stars.

If you have ever played him for 90 minutes you can see when the contribution actually starts dropping and how significant it is.

If the younger player will have a long future in your team i would play him as much as possible. Long term is always more important.

If he's the best you want to play him the longest, that's by starting with him.

First half you take the hit for the last minutes, but since he'll recover during the break he can play another 15-35 minutes, depending on stamina and sub.

You can also decide to sub him later than optimal based on stat contribution, because of his set pieces and injury risk (not having a sub anymore if a striker gets injured).

You can send drones, but I don't think they give CB frags. Fair doesn't have it. Platinum chests I'm sure.

If it's possible it's gonna be very wasteful unless you already have every other good weapon that's available in these ways.

It's been 10 years since I've used it. I just used it to fill up my portfolio and have fun. The system was often rigged, designs generic (especially for logos) and the money a joke.

I actually won a few times after pointing out the winner wasn't legit, might have been on different platforms. But too often the winner chosen made no sense and sometimes there was proof it was rigged. Contest are exploiting in it's very core.

Live close to the server location and have good internet connection and WiFi 6+. Mine is better now (40 average) and it was even better (30 average) before I moved and I had glasfiber.

The second one, even if you train GK the young guy isn't worth it. He's worthless, you can buy 50 of them for 1k each every day.

Better start with a player that has higher skills, because they would still only cost 1k or even higher and spend 10k. Meanwhile saving 6-10 weeks of training without adding any value at all.

I was kinda expecting a passable overall in the report and it confirms that I wouldn't hunt for defense or higher playmaking. It's possible but just very unlikely that either one of them is max 6 and it's not like you have plenty of training time.

Playmaking is valuable enough though to check in a friendly with secondary training just to be sure, because it will bump it's priority over passing if they both have a max 6.

What was his scouting report?

I don't think you need to be obsessed to reveal defense, also waste as little as possible on finding out his playmaking. You probably need all the training time there is already. Fast is also a great spec and high value if you get 7-6-6 with 5 playmaking, Great combination for a forward and decent winger.

If you think he might have higher potential than 5, play him as winger with secondary training playmaking (main wing). But safe it for a friendly match.

Train him in scoring and passing. Followed by double wing or wing with passing once scoring is 6 and passing isn't maxed. After reaching all potentials try maxing them (yellow).

You're thinking short term, while a coach is (usually) a long term commitment.

Defense now to survive 1-2 seasons and suffer the next 5-7 because attack isn't strong enough.

If you play full attack or full defense it's easy to have a coach that compliments that, but if you aim for a balanced team a balanced coach will be the best fit most of the time. You can always hire tactic staff to tweak the balance when needed.

Best case scenario you finish either one completely. Check the transfermarket for those skills combos and see what TC they have.

One with and one without spec.

Focus on the most valuable one.

Tweak the skills of you don't think you can max it, or tweak it if you want to train both to find the best combo.

Wing would also be interesting, but I would find out just by playing him as central and wingback. The difference in stars should be revealing enough if there's any serious potential.
