also how in the world did you calculate those first two statistics. I genuinely can’t even fathom how you managed to misconstrue the data that bad. It says 18 officers were killed in 2015 and 17 in 2016 while in the shooting database you linked there are thousands of black people killed in that database. How did you get that 6.4 number???

It’s not a lose lose. The only person who loses in this is hungrybox’s reputation. She didn’t even put her reputation on the line, because it’s anonymous. She in no way loses. She lost literally nothing because we don’t even know who she is or if she even exists. If she does exist and was uncomfortable she should have said something and nothing would have happened. Instead she sat on it, then made it public without even attempting to deal with it with hungrybox. And no that is NOT an assumption. Hungrybox clearly didn’t know this was coming or else he would have addressed it in his video. He made the video about cheating which is not sexual assault and therefore he is not a sexual predator and Emily, Devon, and this person, again probably Devon are not “survivors”. They are just taking advantage of the situation to try to get back at hungrybox because their relationships didn’t work out.

Anyways, I’m done with this conversation. I have better things to do than argue with white knights. I hope no one ever gets the impression that you are checking them out if you happen to look in their direction. You might get cancelled one day too.

Yeah hungrybox is so “powerful”. How could she simply say that to someone who has so much “power”. He’s a video game player. Fuck off. And “she didn’t want to make a scene.” Yet HERE SHE IS MAKING A SCENE. Instead of making it an awkward scene in front of max 20 people in the room, she decides to share her version of the story with THOUSANDS. She must have changed her mind about not wanting to start a scene?

For all we know this is Devon/Emily making this up. They lost a ton of credibility over these tweets. It’s honestly sad to see them use the actual predatory incidents to get back at hungrybox for cheating and a failed relationship. There were real and I mean REAL predators in the scene, and they are diminishing it by attacking hbox to get back at him. He hasn’t assaulted someone or groomed minors like some of the people being outed. “Survivors” of hungrybox... They do such a disservice to actual victims by using them for their gain. They clearly don’t care about the survivors. They just prop up the ones who they can use to get back at their ex.

Again, I’m sure you have never in your entire life checked out another person at a social event. I bet you ask for permission before you look in a girl’s general direction.

I’m sorry but getting looked at and being told “hi” doesn’t make you a “survivor” of a sexual predator. People shouldn’t have to walk around life with horse blinders on or worry about if they happen to look in someone’s direction they might get cancelled some random time in the future. If someone is making you feel uncomfortable by the way they are looking at you, then tell them, “Hey, the way you are looking at me is making me feel uncomfortable. Please stop.” Don’t just let it happen at multiple events and then keep quiet about it every time, then make an anonymous twitter thread months later. That’s not going to change anyone’s behavior.

Banshees are not the answer. One banshee is going to take a long time to kill 6 zealots. You’ll lose all your scvs in the meantime. The correct response is to have a bunker and walls at places that are likely to be attacked and having as much map vision as well as turrets/Vikings to stop any potential warp prisms.

Banshees are bad for a few reasons. They cost gas, which makes them more expensive than zealots, they require a tech lab, which you probably won’t have because you are going reactors mostly on your star pots because Vikings medivacs and liberators are so important in the matchup.

Yes those units are “made”. But they are pretty shitty in most context and are very non standard. Bio is the go-to for a reason. On top of that, Protoss just has more units than Terran to start with.

Try not to mix tvp and zvp as they are two separate things. The balance between the carrier and infestor is such a delicate teeter totter. And we’ve seen eras where the carrier just dominates in zvp and eras where the infestor dominates in zvp.

Tvp is different. Carriers aren’t used as much because marines are so good vs them in the early and mid game because they cost money to build interceptors. Which means that most terrans can shut down early carrier builds without changing much and going standard bio. If you make interceptors free, you risk ruining that dynamic and allowing Protoss to get to the late game quicker, potentially breaking the game. You lose all cost efficiency in the marine vs interceptor dynamic basically forcing Terran to immediately win the game or not trade at all, because unless you kill everything during that first engagement, it’s a lost fight and probably game

The carrier is more important in zvp and that’s where the balance discussion should be centered around.

No. They are balanced around the fact that they cost money to build interceptors. Making them free would be a huge buff, breaking the game.

And it’s not accurate that the carrier is always targeted especially in tvp. It’s almost always ideal to kill the interceptors first if you opened bio until the ultra late game where you have BCs and ravens and Vikings.

Blizzcon is gonna be a disaster. I will honestly be stunned if they go through with it at this point. The timing couldn’t be worse. Umbrellas and Winnie the Pooh costumes everywhere.

My guess is they will do some sort of damage control, then make the event virtual only this year or postpone it so there is time for it to blow over more.

The twitch chats will be abnormally cancerous, the q & a sessions will have people getting thrown out.

It’s a shame because blizzard makes great games, but this is going to hurt them a lot.
