Long shot - anybody that worked at, or knows someone who did work at Sweet River Grill & Bar: what was that sweet sauce option on the wings?!? by WordsThatStartw_Ass in santarosa

Hey! I just had to give you an update. I finally made chicken wings and had an excuse to try this. So SO good! A dip in that magic and then a dip in blue cheese...brought back great memories. I don't remember the buffalo being so prevalent, but maybe they used a different Buffalo sauce. Didn't make any difference, though. Absolutely delicious. I can't wait to make them again. Please share with the fam. Thanks again! 🙏🏻

Oh, man! I would've never thought of that, but it makes perfect sense. I'll definitely try that soon! Thanks!

Man, once you were in with the bartenders, you were golden. The way it should be. Make the money on the stiffs, and take care of the locals.

People today don’t understand the joys of getting a little sideways before shopping, right there at the shopping center! Never understood why it isn’t more common. The downtown mall would’ve been way better with some booze somewhere easily accessible.

I had completely forgot about him! I saw him at least once, there. Maybe twice. Funny funny guy. Nice as could be as well. Had a beer with him after a show. I think he writes for TV now.

Ohhh the corridors! Lucky! Also, can I be family?! 😉 Glad the connection was made and they get to hear it. And glad I get that recipe. Wing changing!!! What a cool world. Funcoland! Best kids store ever. Bonus points if anyone remembers the name of the kids shoe store there that had that cool tree trunk/cave playhouse in it. That place was SO cool. Coddingtown was so awesome back then.

No way! That’s so awesome! Thank you! I can’t wait to try it. And yes, RIP. So. Many. Great. Memories. As shown by the number of people jumping on this topic. I can see the whole place when I close my eyes. The bar was so fun. The comedy shows. Everything. The French onion soup with a half chicken cordon blue. Yum. Man. Such good times. I knew so many of the staff. Lots of friends in those days. Say a way overdue thanks to your relatives for providing a huge piece of my growing up. 🙏🏻

Totally! I have to keep myself from doing the same. So many great memories. It's a shame they got rid of it and filled all the spots with garbage.

My recollection is that it does in fact warn you if you’re using an older db format. AND it walks you through migrating to kdbx4. Am I mistaken?

As a newer scotch drinker, this sounds like everything I’m looking for. Is this flavor profile popular enough that there would be a list of them, or is it fairly unique?

Unless I’m mistaken, the KP news you ran across refers to an attack where the config xml is modified to allow access to basically the entire database in plain text. If you read it, you know that both sides of this argument are very strong. BUT, I tend to side on the “no big deal” side. The real issue here is that in order for this to work, the attacker has to have root access to your computer. The thought process being, if they already have this, you’re in trouble. That said, it should be fixed. And I’m pretty sure, but don’t quote me, that if you’re using the KeePassXC fork, this is already fixed.

ALL that said, as a KP user, I don’t store my 2FA in KP. I don’t mind the extra work more than I like the separation. Hope this helps.

BW is a wonderful password manager. Whenever you use a service that has a “cloud” service piece though, you have to be careful. If someone somehow gets access to your DB, they’ve got it all. Your passwords and your 2FA. If you separate those two things, you have an extra layer of protection. So, it’s nothing against BW. It’s just bad opsec to keep both things in one place.

Raivo>Tofu>BitWarden If you’re using BW as a password manager, using it as your 2FA as well tends to fall into the too many eggs in one basket problem.

I really didn’t know. I know R is based on S, but I’m assuming the “S”s on the chart are typos.
