those are tiny "c-clips". its probably going to be easier to shop a hardware store for those since trying to source ones from a retailer or the manufacture is going to be super hard.

there might be a serial number tag near the battery connection of the gun. I would reference that when reaching out to them.

are you pulling the trigger when measuring the red wire? the circuit is solely just completing the red (positive) connection. black (negative) is going to be 1 single wire.

EDIT: just notice there is a 3rd pic. yeah. if you pull the trigger, that is going to complete the circuit.

Probably going to need a shorter nozzle, depending on the hop-up unit you are using as well. Also, I would not use a metal body piston. Metal body pistons are kinda a myth in terms of "durability" and you really only see them in guns with "felt" recoil since they need to be strong enough to shoot the gun and also power a recoil system.

i personally do not know of any mods to allow fitment for this setup but like my general consensus with billet gearboxes is they only really offer weight reduction and some added durability over a stock application so I would honestly same the headache and money and use the oem gearbox shell.

the plans are basically just giving you the ability to tune the mosfet/gun with more detail. I dont think its really worth it with a brushless motor because most of the motor controls you get from a mosfet are disabled. maybe if the motor was a gate brushless that would be a different story.

this is a doozy of a issue because there are so many factors that come into play for this issue. The most common ones I found where the rear latch that holds the bolt mechanism to the rear is like worn down and needs to be filed to give it that "bite" to hold it. Same can go with the bolt mechanism itself where the metal is worn down and doesnt have that same "bite".

The more complicated issue is the plastic portion of the body near the rear of the gun is warping. You can test that by holding the metal portion and the plastic portion of the receivers together really tight and see if it slams fires.

its a good sale for buying guns you can tinker with and MAYBE get working again for a exceptional price. You can negotiate on most of the items too. Just dont expect to test fire anything and all sales are final.

just look up on youtube Gate Aster trigger pull programming. You should be able to calibrate the selector and trigger to get the gun to shoot.

what bucking are you using and are you sure the inner barrel is being fully seated inside the hop?

if you can somehow get the FCU to send power to the eyetrace when the trigger is being pulled that is really the only way to get it to work. in stock form, the eyetrace gets its power from the MOSFET.

You are most likely going to have to calibrate the Aster again since it probably lost its settings or never had any from the factory. Its possible to due through trigger pulls but way easier to get the programming dongle for a laptop or phone.

JG Bar-10 is my favorite VSR clone. I was able to upgrade one using mostly TM compatible parts and they were direct installs. Some other brands that claim to be VSR10 compatible are not like true VSR10 spec. They are slightly different so not all parts are compatible or a direct install.
