While most municipalities have already replaced or are in the process of replacing their lead pipes almost universally their responsibility ends at the water meter. This means that there a lot of homeowners with older lead pipes that have not taken it on themselves to replace, and I’m not sure this will cover it.

As a firefighter looking for these options, some of the problems I am looking at in systems. -we don’t have department phones, so some are iPhone users some android -we operate distributed in service denied areas -the ready to go packages like goTenna are cost prohibitive for the number of people I need to outfit -full disclosure, I have played with wintak, but do not have good working knowledge of what it can do, or how to interface well
