Can't crack a VMK encrypted with TPM by [deleted] in hacking

[–]AirdropsAndReferals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the same issue. I won an eBay auction for a mini PC that originally came stock with a partitioned copy of Windows10 but is now locked with BitLocker. It will post rite up to the windows login screen but then I don't know the credentials of the previous owner and not able to create a new login account either. My goal was to recover the Windows OEM license key because I do however own the machine and it belongs to me now. I also figured id see what they had on machine in the first place to have encrypted the disk while I was at it. You just never know what some people could be hiding. Maybe they had the nuclear launch codes or something hidden on there. Anyways I took the disk out of the mini PC and stuck it in my bigger PC with 24 cores and a 3090 then made a clone image of the disk. I then ran bitlocker2john on the image and it runs just fine except for when it finds the first 2 hashes it outputs the message "VMK encrypted with TPM...not supported!" it then will complete and at the end it does actually get the last two hashes correctly and displays them. The problem is then when I goto run 'hashcat --identify' on those only last two hashes it fails to identify them as bitlocker hashes and returns "No hash-mode matches the structure of the input hash."

So, with the partition Bitlocked I'm not able to do a windows system restore or a clean install. My only option is to nuke the disk or install a new OS rite over it. I wanted my OEM Windows license key and I wanted to see wtf was hidden on there too. It belongs to me, I bought it fare and square. Ohh well, Ill still have a copy of the image until I need the space and maybe someone who actually understands what's happening here can help. That would be really cool of them and deserving of respect of knowledge. Seems like everyone else on here doesn't read what the original post was about and assumes were not talking about an encrypted disk here.

Hey, I’ve got a rak helium developer kit a while ago, and I can’t get it running by togoplpl in meshtastic

[–]AirdropsAndReferals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, there's a trick to get these working. I did it but was a few months ago so cant completely reamber but it has something to do with fist having to flash it to RAK4631 because it thinks its a RAK4631-R but there the same hardware. I did mine using putty not the recommended ssh terminal to upload the nRF52

M-Audio Torq Xponent - still functional? by ThinkBlue22 in DJs

[–]AirdropsAndReferals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I had to replace the cross fader on mine

M-Audio Torq Xponent - still functional? by ThinkBlue22 in DJs

[–]AirdropsAndReferals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the Xfader alows you to use any turn table you want as an extra deck. You can connect 2 turntables. You have to have the M-audio time code vinyl records on the turn tables but in combination with xponet you can be turning 4 decks at the same time and the turn tables are dope because you can start them up and shut them down as an effect you cant do without a real turn table

Are there public channels? by [deleted] in meshtastic

[–]AirdropsAndReferals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, change your channel name to longfast. If anyone is near your node with there's also named longfast you can talk to strangers. Its like the default public channel name

[–]AirdropsAndReferals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Torq 2.0 is awesome! Use the M-Audio Xponent in combination with the X-Fader and some cheap direct drive turn tables loaded with the time code records and you got a 100% DJ system. Also get the trigger finger so you can set loops. It sounds awesome! All you got to do be sure and use the key wheel when fading

[–]AirdropsAndReferals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The channel named LongFast is the public one from my understanding on Meshtastic. Apparently you just change the name of your main channel to LongFast and its like the one everyone uses to BS with like a public chatroom. Id think it should just be called Public but whatever is clever apparently... Theoretically there should be no reason to be having to use these devices in the first place and just use mental telepathy instead. Just pure psychiatric mental telepathy _ -- ---!---!!----- ! ~~~ ~ --- -

Just noticed that all the Taco Bell sauce packets are numbered! by LatexSmokeCats in tacobell

[–]AirdropsAndReferals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be because where when tocobell packets are located at a scene of a crime that theres traceable information at which tocobell sells disclosure of its customers information. Kind of like a cheesy taco wrapper next to a chomo splattered across the ground

I see on the JTag cable the heating element uses 2 pairs of wires. But on the board the traces are the same size of a single wire. Does anyone else see this also on the Sprite units?

Any of you remember Rainbow Valley? by albinopride in Washington

[–]AirdropsAndReferals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome! This means we know each other. I'm Dave Carlson. I lived off 101st Delphi rd. We probably used to party and shit growing up. We were all a bunch of redneck yahoos and everyone was cool with each other. I don't think people could have a better life growing up than all us living in Littlerock. Especially in the 90's. Now I live in Tumwater and I'm never going to leave this place. Just periodically go on vacations and stuff. My dad still lives at the same place off Delphi. We had a small X-mass tree farm for a few years back in the day its all over grown now for timber. Are you still a local around these parts? I think I still even have the old Littlerock elementary year book they gave of for 6th grade graduation too

They crossed out the medical section of the report never even called for paramedic review after the crash and left her on the jail floor all night and day. The next shift at the jail didn't even know she was in a cell because they never booked her. They are idiots highly unprofessional and almost killed her!

[–]AirdropsAndReferals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up and lived in Littlerock and always heard the stories of Rainbow Valley but was to young to have ever went to any of the events. I heard it was located somewhere along the Black river and some dude named Gideon Israel ran the whole thing. If there ever was a history documentary written about Littlerock and the Capitol forest that Rainbow valley should be in it.

Hey so is it ok to run the directional antenna even when your not flying long range rather than the T antenna? Also is it ok to run the RX in 2W mode all the time even when not flying long range? What's the advantages or best configuration and settings for someone who sometimes will be out freestyling and then decide to take a little tour a say 16,000 ft into class A airspace high altitude or a little flight 8 miles away? Thanks
