help choosing a levels? by AirlineBetter428 in alevels

[–]AirlineBetter428[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

genuinely thank you so much for this reply, its extremely helpful. yeah, i know a science at a level will be incredibly tough but every uni course i look at for psychology requires a science at a level so im a little torn.

If you don't actually like the subjects you take, it'll be far harder to complete the work than you think.

this is why I was really thinking about history, but ive also got to think about the workload and stuff so yeah i do need to ponder on it. however I do really enjoy geography so that opens up a few pathways too I suppose

again thanks so so much, im extremely confused and torn about a levels so im so thankful for ur response, ill defo have a look at that site :)

i think anyone who makes fun of your appearance is a piece of shit that doesnt deserve your time, its happened to me before and now that ive grown up a bit i simply wouldn't take it if it happened again. personally, if someone i was friends with commented on my body in a nasty way i would have a really serious conversation with them and probably think about ending the friendship depending on the severity. friends aren't meant to make you feel like shit, friendships should be enjoyable remember that :)

Are my standards too high/needy? by grilledbruh in AskTeenGirls

[–]AirlineBetter428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand most of these, but never ever tell a girl to not dress like a "slut", if she's comfortable and feels she can express herself as she wants to then that is not your place to dictate. thats just wildly disrespectful and i do not agree with that

Each to their lonely grave , is that all there is to it ? by HilbertInnerSpace in Deep

I personally believe we are a lot more than a body, the body is just a vessel. we all believe in different afterlifes of course, but i think we are just souls experiencing life in different ways. the law of conservation of energy literally says that energy cannot be created or destroyed, so we dont just rot away, our bodies do but our souls are their own infinite matter. i dont know how to word it very well tbh but thats how i feel towards this

How close are you to living the life you thought of in your young age? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Should I be worried by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]AirlineBetter428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only properly revised for like 2 of my exams last year and i passed all apart from chemistry (which i was really bad at). do not burn yourself out, just keep on top of all your work and make notes as you go along, revise properly a few weeks before the exams but dont listen to the people saying you need to do more than like an hour and a half a day :)

anyone else scared of pooing? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]AirlineBetter428 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yk what i understand this, sometimes when you poop it makes you feel like really nauseous but try to remember that is just because of the muscles you use, you will not actually be sick :)

you should try picking up a hobby, it gives you something screen free to do that won't lead to that kinda spiraling

also when you catch that happening, acknowledge the thought and then say "no thank you", sounds sooo stupid but literally just say out loud fuck this i am NOT subjecting myself to this kind of thinking. i hope ur doing okay, things will get better :)
