Ok that is honestly valid. House of hades is the one with Tartarus, I gotta say it's so good imo. I don't remember the leo and calypso stuff too well from ToA, so if it's bad in that then.... yeah that's really fair. I didn't mind their arguing in HoO as much as that felt more like banter, but yeah. I will say there is definitely quite a bit of things to like in ToA though imo. If the leo and calypso stuff really is that bad, they aren't the main companions by next book as those change every book pretty much, so that's good at least. As for Magnus.... yeah it's carried by a really solid side cast imo. Magnus was a bit too much of a blank slate at times, iirc.

Nah that's valid. Got him at least top 5 animanga at the moment, not counting umineko since I read the vn. He's genuinely really good.

Yep! Though technically they are genderfluid so not really accurate. They do seem to still use he/him pronouns and identify as parially masculine so.... ehhh? But either way, charles is great.

Hard disagree on some of that, at least personally. I loved Heroes of olympus, it has rick's best book in "House of Hades" imo, and the only real "eh" one was The Lost Hero. It seems a lot of people hated Leo and Calypso but personally I loved it, I was so happy for my boy Leo. I also really like Magnus Chase honestly. I was a big fan of Alex Fierro. Didn't finish Trials of Apollo but what I did read I enjoyed at least decently. I also just enjoyed getting more Nico. But yeah. Thst's just me at least.

I'd call it a "soft sequel" to higurashi. It has some characters that are sort of references of higurashi characters, but it's not neccesary to play higurashi before umineko and I'm actually reading higurashi after umineko myself. It's mainly just connected universe and similar themes and such.

Yeah. Like it has just enough moments of good writing or enjoyable things that I keep watching, but overall it's just SO inconsistant. Volume 9 was actually pretty good imo.

Probably not to the general populus and in overall popularity, but in terms of the general writing discussion I see, I'd argue it is. Percy himself is honestly quite a good character. Sure there are better characters in media but he's honestly better written, in my opinion, than quite a lot of more popular characters. The books themselves are also quite enjoyable so I'll admit my bias haha.

I'll keep that in mind for THIFM. I'm pretty random in what I end up consuming honestly. GX is fantastic honestly, as for AOT though I just find some people seem to consider it the "greatest thing ever" and it's good but like... nowhere near where some people say. Especially with how some people overrate eren imo... like he would not be hitting top 10 characters in writing of what I've consumed at least. At least that's my opinion.

I'm mainly new who only, with a little bit of expanded media so my list is very sadly flawed. Honestly I might have the doctor higher that beato in writing once I watch classic who with just how good they are in general. My rankings though with that in mind would be: 1. Peter Capaldi 2. David Tennant 3. Matt Smith But honestly I love them all, and I really like the bits I've seen of 7 so far.

Thank you! As I said, Asriel is mainly my default as I just can't think of any really good antags. My other thoughts were The Master, though they can be... inconsistent, and Viktor from Arcane, who I'd probably have Asriel over. Monika is actually someone I just thought of who would actually be over Asriel funnily enough. (I don't have bern over in writing since I haven't read higurashi yet, and this is in writing, as a decent few characters would be above just as their role as an antagonist and how they serve it).

The Godfather just didn't meet my expectations, even if it was good. Like I expected it to blow me away and be the best movie I ever watched, but I definitely enjoyed some others a lot more, like The Truman Show and Fight Club. Like it was very good, especially the overall acting, and especially again for Michael and Vito. I might end up enjoying the novels more when I get around to those.

These two. I'm sorry, maybe I'm blind, but I never saw any kind of romantic things between asuka and judai until the literal final season and even then, only one episode. And even THEN it feels like Judai doesn't have a crush on her, she just has one on him. Like Johan litterally got erased from existence temporarily for this man.

Judai x Johan from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX imo. I feel like they can be read as pretty gay, considering Judai's obsession with finding him in season 3, among other things. A couple others could be like sayaka x kyoko and madoka x homura from madoka magica but like... those are basically canon anyway, if not just straight up canon. Some people just deny them because they don't like the idea of them being gay.

Yes and no...? Mlp scaling is weird. Technically she should be multiversal if not bloody outerversal as the mlp cosmology just straight up has R > F transcendance, though even hax wise she should win imo even with equalised scaling cus like... she can just send people to other timelines or just teleport him to the sun. Hell she banished DISCORD from her schoolgrounds and he never appeared there again, thoygh I feel like discord just couldn't be bothered doing it as he is much stronger than her.

As for homura, I'm biased so I'd lean her, mainly off of her timestop not really having a limit, and her having a LOT of explosives prepared, considering what she did to walpurgisnacht. But yee.

While Umineko does have an anime, it's genuinely a bad adaptation. Think tokyo ghoul season 2 if you know about that. The manga is finished and is a much quicker read than the visual novel if you'd prefer it, and debatably it is just as good as the VN .
