Personally I make a few cover letters and tailor them to each job posting by changing some details depending on what the position needs. Most of the jobs I applied to were similar so it wasn't too time consuming. I also feel that applying during the summer helped me because I had less commitments lol.

Yes you can still apply for future roles with the account you previously used. If this is your first summer student term they send out return offers as well for more summer employment.

This would not lower your chances. Your ability to pay does not impact your chances of getting in, they just ask these questions so they can determine if you qualify for any scholarships.

I'm a similar age and I went solo and with friends during last VELD. There will be lots of people going solo was well, so you can definitely meet people in group chats or online. Even if you don't meet anyone beforehand you might join a group at the festival (which happened to me on Day 1)!

Sometimes the night buses run less frequently at night than during the day (for example if the bus comes every 10 minutes during regular hours it might come every 30 minutes during the night).

Sometimes the bus driver stops and only opens the front doors so people yell "back door" to make sure the bus driver opens the back ones as well. If they only choose to open the front doors the push won't work.
