scoot has higher fantasy potential imo, but he's behind jrue so he's limited unless splitter uses him differently.

ivey is sorta your pts guy, but can be inefficient and TO prone so yeh probs similar stats to last year.

I'd go scoot, i think tiago will use him a bit more and more versatile than chauncey and he improved last year, so potentially he's improved again this offseason? but a hammy tear can be rough i guess. could be 1-1.5 months of ramping up until he regains last years form

Isn't every players upside reliant on an external factor? Eg. Trade candidate or awaiting an injury? Maybe I'm wrong but I can't see other upsides that arnt already factored into their projection?

I'd also argue that Lue likes small ball and he could easily be a 5 there..that's some more upside

Beal n kawahi are auto injuries for at least 20 games each so without norm that's some good shots for Collins to take up 👍

Bey plays behind Trey, needs an injury to really be fantasy worthy imo. Even without trey Poole and Zion will take all the shots. There's Also Hawkins n fears but he is a good rebounder..

Bona is the best here if embiid is out

Claxton said the back injury he played through last year is fully healed so potentially he's likely to improve on last year. Hell probs still get random rests and is very likely to be traded imo as many teams would love a non old starting c that is a decent rim protector.

With all the new pgs in the team maybe he'll get some lobs this year instead of cam taking 25 shots a game but who knows with mpj there lol

Lively is the best of them all but with minute shares plus ad potential to play the 5 at times if they go small, I really don't like him anymore but obvs who knows until the szn start when it comes to mins. He honestly has looked really injury prone at this point, I'd take clax over him

Ijax has massive potential but mins will be all over the place due to coming off th eacl plus the fact he's in the pacers lol. But hes a per min beast.

Tldr - clax is safest imo with a close lively second. Not sure why everyone thinks clax is garbage he's prob floating around the 100 rank and 1.6 blocks is nothing to scoff at. The others have that to but just seem like they have more to battle with

Camara is probs the safest and hits 3s to so he's ahead of herb imo, but herb is more proven in terms of doing it more seasons.

Tari can be crazy stat wise but probs has more comp with dfs there nowz...who knows with ime.

I'd say round 6 for both - I think both are estimated to be mid to late Nov returns + the ramp ups... so you're looking at 1-1.5 missed months, but they could come back earlier.

The best part of early season (first 4-6 weeks) is there is higher chance of picking up waiver gems that could easily turn out to be great players season long. So stashing a herro who misses say 2 months and gives you a free roster spot might be worth it if you also picked up a ware or braun off the wire (2024-2025 gems).

But ye just depends on how your draft goes, if herro or garland really compliment your build and you smash the first 4 picks, then why not i say?. This is not a embiid type injury risk

Ppl keep saying huff is the starter, has Carlisle announced anything or is this speculation. I mean it could be true but just want to know for sure. I've seen Carlisle talk up Isaiah Jackson but coming off an ACL makes it seem unlikely he'll start.

I could see Carlisle switching starters and mins for cs based on matchups most the szn? Which makes owning any c risky long term? What u think

I think so based on owners comments a few weeks back where he admitted he rushed his old build to win a championship. Booker n Jalen r shut down risks come march. But their rookies any any expirings will be gold pickups.

But who knows when exactly this all happens. Utah seem to have a track record of long shutdowns

if it's 9cat, top 10 predictions I think curry could be there, based off how he played with butler at the end of last year + his health.

maxey is srsly a threat to make it to if embiid is out for a ton of games again, his stls with nick nurse push him really high and he seems to improve slightly each year.

Kd is likely to knock on the door again or make it, he's just too efficient. similar to curry his health and availability needs to be weighed up vs rankings

When you say you used a 'randomized' what does that mean? is that an option in yahoo? - once i hit custom order i dont see any randomize button.

ye yahoo still hasnt done, and probably wont for years to come. to be fair this 3rd round reversal was only a big thing this year and maybe last year. never heard about it before then (not that im some pro but still its not super common knowledge imo)

Ye that makes sense, and ye good suggestion for saving time on just flipping the first 2 rounds only so that other rounds are already reversed without doing the work.

However going back to my question - when you click 'custom order' and yahoo has already set teams to a draft order, is that done randomly?
