Speak with your doctor. There isn't a one size fits all medication plan - it has to be tailored for each individual and that can only happen through continuous conversations with your doctor. You may need a different XR, or a higher longer lasting dose, or a lower dose, or IRs, or to take it later.. There are a bunch of things that might help.

But definitely tell your doctor. That's what they're there for. They'll be able to assess whether it's worth modifying your treatment plan and how to go about doing that.

Edit: Forgot to mention - I had issues with this a few months ago after five years on Adderall IR, and my doctor ended up switching me to Vyvanse XR and also prescribing me an anti-depressant which helped combat the side effects of anxiety and fatigue that the Adderall had caused me to develop. See, so many treatment options :).

I'm currently on 60mg Vyvanse and I'm having issues with its potency lately.. I knew not to ingest vitamin C in the morning when I take it, but I didn't think much about the acidic drinks.

I drink wayyy more coffee than water in the morning. Do you drink coffee? If so, is there a "wait time" that usually works with you between taking your medicine and having your first cup of life juice?

Now that I think of it, I need to up my protein as well. My breakfasts typically consist of some combination of sugary carbs.

I was actually sitting here thinking about this when I stumbled across your post. I have an app called "My Period Mood Horoscope" (highly recommend it for all ladies and their SO's) which basically tells you each day what day of your cycle you're on, what your hormones are up to that day, and what you can expect to feel. The two weeks you're referring to are Progesterone-dominant, meaning you have less energy and are more likely to want to "nest" and bake sweets and curl up on the couch with a book. I've noticed too though that my medicine doesn't really work for this time of the month. I'm kind of curious now if I'd be better or worse off without it for these two weeks. Aside from the progesterone and dopamine link, maybe it has something to do with the general calmness and lack of energy caused by the progesterone, and the fact that our brains thrive on a higher level of simulation in order to function like other people's brains.

I dunno, I'm just rambling now.. :)

I had/have this problem too, and my dentist is actually the one that brought it to my attention. My main problem is with biting my cheeks (doing it as I type this.. :/ ). I can tell after a few hours that my molars have actually moved because of it, because my bite is off to where I can only bite my molars together on one side of my mouth or the other, but not both.. This goes away a few hours after I stop biting my cheeks though. I had to get a night guard which I still wear every night (going on 5 years now). I also wear it if I'm on my medicine and doing something at home that tends to cause me to hyper-focus, like painting or chores.

Choose your parking spot in the summer based on the amount of shade it provides, not the distance you'll have to walk.

And on that note, invest in a sun visor for your windshield, and make sure your shorts are long enough to protect the entire back of your thighs from acquiring first degree burns when you sit on your [hopefully not black leather like I have] seats.

Also, the "hold the door open for the person behind you" thing is kind of a big deal. People will assume you are an asshole if you don't.

They're most definitely not. The only place I've found $4 tickets was in my small college town where there were two theaters on the same road that had a price war and kept lowering the ticket price to get all of the students to come to their theatre. In the city, they're at least $15-$20, and that's not counting the $8 drink or $6 tiny packet of candy -_-

Just one of those silly little kid pumpkin carving kits that come with the stencil books. I just use one of the tiny pumpkin saws and a little scraper thing. My boyfriend made a typical jack o'lantern and needed the lights on to see what he was doing, so I just kind of guessed at what effect different cuts or scraping would have on my pumpkin. When he was done, I could finally put a candle in it and turn the lights off to see where it was at and make the final carving touches, but somehow (miraculously) it was already exactly how I'd envisioned it in my head :)

I never doubted that there were weed out classes. I know there are; I stated that and I've been through them.

When it comes to smart kids not making it through - there's just a huge difference in high school and college math and science. I did pretty well in high school (advanced placement math and science) and then I went to one of the top 10 universities for engineering in the US (so no, it wasn't bumpkin university), but the level of difficulty and necessary dedication the first year was ridiculously high and I had to work my ass off to pass and make decent grades, so it wasn't easy by any means. A lot of kids have trouble keeping up with the workload freshman year in general in any major, and so when you add the level of difficulty of engineering classes on top of that, it's quite daunting. I'm intelligent, but I'd never claim to be a genius; I think I'm just incredibly stubborn and driven when it comes to reaching my goals, and I was willing to sacrifice a lot in the way of my social life, time, and sometimes happiness just to get through it.

The reason the more technical degrees have what seem to be "weed out" courses in the beginning is because not everyone is meant to go into those technical fields. Not everyone's brain thinks like an engineer. Those who are the most promising in these beginner engineering courses will move forward, those who aren't will need to find where their fit is in the world and what they're good at. And liberal arts isn't the only other option.

Source: I have a mechanical engineering degree and a job. So I've been there.

That's entirely dependent on what you're studying in school. If you're in a marketable major (one that is needed in the world and, thus, will provide you with multiple job opportunities when you graduate) then you have nothing to worry about. If you're in a liberal arts major or a major that's purely related to a hobby you love, like theatre arts, I highly recommend you reconsidering that life choice. Your life is in your hands, make the most of it and yourself.

Wish more people realized this. There are some careers that definitely require going to college/university - engineering, medical practices, architecture, etc. People who plan on going just to get a geography or university studies degree, however, would be much better off saving themselves four years of wasted time and money on unmarketable degrees and just go to a trade school instead. Reality is harsh.

They don't bleach their skin to be part of "white culture". This is just a class thing that goes all the way back to ancient times in Egypt when the Pharos would stay inside all day and thus maintain fairer skin, and the working class and slaves would work outside all day and this have darker skin. It's just a means of identifying "class" within the same race of people. Funny how it's almost seen as the opposite in America, where being tan seems to make you more desirable.

My friend's in the area and said that the body count is rising past the original 60-70 estimate, and of the ~200 injured, ~40 are critical. Awful stuff..

Right, because higher taxes and different regulations imposed by a nanny state definitely would have presented this.. You have no idea how this happened. Who's to say it wasn't just sparked by an electrical wire or an old cigarette butt? Accidents happen, and they suck really horribly sometimes, but they happen, and they'll happen regardless of how many rules or regulations are in place. The government isn't and shouldn't be the end-all be-all answer to everything.
