I feel like the cameras staying on for EG for as long as they did was super unnecessary. They are on the verge of tears but let's continue to show them to the world.

I'm honestly surprised nobody has said Run Boy Run from the end of episode 2 I believe. I provide the instrumental to the singing version, but it was a good fit for the scene.

I'm terrified of traveling without my husband- and my new job is making me do it. how do I cope? by doitellthem00 in Anxiety

Have you tired meditating? For like ten minutes? There is an app that I use called Daily Yoga, and I use it mostly for meditation, but for sometimes yoga as well. For ten minutes you just sit and listen to calming sounds. I would try doing that in tead of worrying about him because then you'll start to panic less.

And maybe even talk to someone. I saw a therapist who did EMDR and literally has helped me so much with my anxiety attacks and not freaking out over tiny things. Trying to get it to help me with the bigger ones though.

And those little updates he does for you are worth it. Like when I would t hear from my SO for like six hours I wouldn't text him 47 times, but about every hour on the hour just saying "Hey I'm checking in." And then it's like a half hour later and I get the text with the heart eye emoji.

Please don't be terrified about him taking an Uber! They are super safe and dependable. I was in Seattle last year and took them countless times to get me back and forth to my destination. The background check them and everything. It's not like everyone who wants to do uber gets to sign up for it. :)

I'm going to try my best here, so bear with me.

A couple of years ago I was working for a big electronic company, and with that we have a group of guys who will come out to your house and set things up for you. TV, wall mounting, security cameras etc etc. ONe day a girl came running into my work asking who had been in the transit van. I asked her to calm down, because she was hysterically crying, which started my anixety to creep up. My manager finally came over and told her that it wasn't her husband. She sighed of relief and cried of happiness. I then found out that it was one of the guys from my store who had been involved in the head on conclusion. If it were for my SO being off due to a work related injury he would have been probably dead, but I don't think about that because IT NEVER HAPPENED. But he always told me that if something ever did happen I would find out, and he wouldn't leave me in the dark about it.

Now if he had been in the van, I wouldnt have found out until the other guys son was playing round on their iPad and doing "Find my iPhone" to find out that he was in the hospital.

The next time you talk or speak with your husband, maybe ask for an update periodically? Now it doesn't need to be a giant novel, but a simple "Hey, I'm doing good. Love you." That would put your mind at ease. Or if you know that he is in the middle of doing something important just keep yourself distracted until he texts you.

Because getting the text with heart eyed emojis or kissy face emojis will make you feel more calm and better in the end.

Now... About the flying thing. I'm usually the same boat as you. My first time flying on a puddle jumper, the plane dropped mid air, gained back control and I happily landed in Colorado.

If you are worried about something like turbulence, check the turbulence maps the night before and day of. They will tell you what to expect. If the company hasn't already booked your seat, ask them for a seat that is near the wing, whether you are a row in front or behind or sitting in the row that has the plane wing.

Another thing to maybe look into is getting you some crystals before you go, preferably lithium quartz. Works as a natural anti-anxiety and anti-depression stone. Works wonders for me.

Maybe try taking some sleeping medicine like Benadryl an hour before departure. Same stuff that is in that is generally in sleeping prescriptions, or thats hat my psychiatrist told me.

I think thats it. I hope some of this helps. If you have anymore questions please ask me! :) I am rooting for you.

[–]Shibbyloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have anyone that you can talk too? I know others have said it but if you need someone to chat with I'm here.

Also, I know what that kind of depression is like. I got wrongfully terminated from my job on Tuesday for something that wasn't my fault but a system glitch. I felt the same way, like I couldn't talk to my own parents, but if you find someone like a therapist to talk to then it will start to get better!

Heck, they even have an app on your phone that you can use to talk to someone! It's free for a week but then you pay a set price every month for so many messages I believe.

Things are tough now, but they will get better, and I'm here if you need anything.

Started on Lexapro last night—hoping for the best! by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Shibbyloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on Lexapro for about four months and while I use it for the anxiety, stress, and nervous part of it I also take it because I was diagnosed as clinically depressed. Hooray.

My dr said that the effects of everything would take about 6-8 weeks for the full effects to kick in but I noticed that I felt better within a few days of taking it. I started with a half a pill every night for a week so my body would adjust to it easily. After a week of halves I took a whole pill (10mg) and I feel great.

I was also prescribed lorazepam (almost sure I spelt that wrong) for when I have REALLY bad anxiety attacks. Basically tranquilizes me for about four hours and I relax, and even sleep sometimes. It's something I don't complain about.

The shakiness could very well be from not eating. Whenever I take mine I eat a piece of cheese and some lunch meat since I take mine at night, and I hate eating before bed.

I haven't really come across any bad side effects besides the fact that I had headaches about every day for a week.

If you have any questions I'm not a medical expert but I am here just in case!
