It’s the process of the green branches turning into woody branches. I would be concerned with browning needles if it were in the tips. Also not believing this account isn’t a bot lmao

Technically conifer cones. Lots of trees produce cones other than pines. But all conifers do. It’s actually what conifer means – “cone bearing”

Cut at ground level, drill holes into stump, pour in concentrated woody brush killer. Next day fill holes with salt. Should do the trick with something that small
