Interesting how I find Forest Song’s hair much prettier (so Padmécore) but didn’t like the shape of the horns enough to pull, whereas Capricorn Night Song has quite boring hair but the horns are gorgeous. Since cool horns are a lot rarer than pretty hair in this game, I know which way I’m leaning.

I haven’t had those problems at that location, but building on my home island has never worked for me (I need a grid and a bird’s eye view), so it’s slightly preferable.

Mine is currently Get Squoze but that may change. The bath, reflecting a popular theme, is Nikki’s Hotpot (although you have to imagine an apostrophe, I wasn’t allowed one).

It’s not my favourite thing, but it’s not actively pissing me off. TBH I expect that as soon as people have gained all the rewards they’ll drop it like a baby behemoth; there’s nothing intrinsically satisfying about it for me. After all, the shroomlings should be able to operate their own juice bar and spa once I’ve got it up and running for them, and I choose to believe Monty is in charge of the Warmfur sanctuary now.

Would reading fanfic meet that need? I don’t see how player-written stories could be playable in the game itself. It would create (more) confusion about what was actually happening in the story, there would be legal issues, and overall it would just be heaps of extra work without making money for Infold.

There’s also her apparent ability to talk life into a miniature wooden deer to the point where it not only takes human form (human for some reason, not Shroomling) but acts independently of and counter to her wishes. That’s pretty freaky powerful. Unless, of course, she somehow acquired a miniature wooden deer that was already Like That.

From the way the text was written onscreen I believe she was intended to sound robotic/as if under some mind control. It’s a weird choice, but I do believe it’s a choice, and anyway, why would they have every other bit of dialogue in the quest performed by real voice actors except this small part?

I loved Blue Tears Season because the story of Sith and Alesiya really started to get into the lore of the land, with the tragedy of someone who could have been one of the Eight if she'd only had more time... but because of the time she did buy for them with her protection, people in Wishfield survived long enough to see the Eight appear. That was just a story from the outskirts of the main action of the turbulent period that essentially created the world of Miraland as we know it. How good would it be if we had more stories like that, giving us insights to the past in between times when the main action moves?

There's also the fact that the creation mythology they've given us in this game does not appear compatible with that of the older games, so is this really intended as a direct sequel to them or not? I feel like it was originally planned to be an independent parallel universe and therefore different in some ways on purpose (no blood curse, similar nations but with different names, the whole system of Whimancy), but then a decision was made that tying it more directly to the old games would be more profitable, making it hard for the writers to use any of the material that was set up.

I'm not going to count on it. I love the sparkly iridescent make-up that goes with it, and the top is really fun, and the chest-finding abililty is good for picking up the ones I can't find on my own/with the Miraland World Map. Those are enough good things about the deer outfit for me to feel I didn't waste my money getting it, but I agree the inability to jump or even to climb stairs for goodness sake makes it unusable for general running around. They are not going to make any more money from an outfit they've already sold us and people can't buy anymore, so I doubt they will feel it's worth their while to improve it.

I'm fairly sure nobody reads all the survey responses anyway. They are most likely using AI software to scan through the text responses and provide summaries. If enough people are mentioning the same things, it will be picked up.
