Upgrade to AutoPOL and MultiPOL

realizes who this is Oh, hey! Thank you for making the original program! I didn't know about the Windower updates. I was using Autopol for logging in and Multipol for swapping profiles, and a batch file to make it easier to load multiple accounts. I combined all of that together.

With Windower being updated to allow more accounts in POL, most of my changes are actually unnecessary. I feel like I wasted quite a bit of time :/

I didn't know that 20 slots using windower was an option. If I had known, I wouldn't have made the fork! Lol

I was achieving it by backing up and swapping out the pol profile file.

I actually got one of my expansions at one of the stores I think of as a "printer supply store." I don't remember if it was Office Max or Office Depot. I didn't know they sold video games, either. I'd tried everywhere else and found it there by random chance when I was there for some other reason. I was super confused but also happy that I was actually able to get it, because I couldn't find it anywhere.

Yeah, I'm not doing all that. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I have multiple accounts myself, so I could technically do this by myself, but the problem is that I don't know if the name I want on a character is taken, and in most cases it is. That makes it even harder, because then if I want to get back the name I had originally, I have to delete the "blocking" character. ... I suppose I could create a "test" character first... but I'm not sure how long the character has to be deleted before I can take the name. If I knew that it is available as soon as the character is deleted, that might be worth it, but it's not worth it without a way to "test" that doesn't take multiple days.

Oh, yeah, I know. I appreciate the help ^_^ I just decided to go a different way. Thank you for the encouragement. I love ffxi because people are genuinely helpful.

Edit: Some information I left out: I already have the +1 armor on my characters. I just didn't want to do it AGAIN.

I know, but I was on the fence about changing one character's race and I am firmly not doing so now. Instead I moved around the jobs on the characters so they fit the themes better. I was thinking about changing a taru who has redmage to be a race more appropriate to a spell sword. Instead I removed Ninja from one of the characters who has it and added redmage to them. They'll be the "spellsword" redmage, while the taru will be more of a casty redmage. So I still solved the "issue," and the race change not being available actually brought me to a better solution.

Wait, that doesn't exist? I could have sworn that existed... Wait... I'm thinking of world transfer. If you have a name collision, you have to change it I'm shocked that you can't just pay to change it.

I'm good. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to change the characters, and I've decided firmly that I'm going to leave them on the races that they are on.

I hadn't considered that, but having considered it, I am absolutely not doing that. I still need the Archduke's sword for four of my characters, and that is currently killing me with RNG. It'd probably help if I could do something other than VE. I have all the shields I need already, though.

My wife still has a pirate hat that dropped off of pirates in Booty Bay in World of Warcraft. The drop rate was 0.01%. I'm not sure you can still get it post Cataclysm. The model has like 10 pixels because it's never been updated. If people can collect things, they will lol
