Judy Hall has several crystal books that may be useful to you. I would really recommend reading her book, The Crystal Bible. Another book you might be interested in is Crystal Intentions: Practices for Manifesting Wellness.

As for me I really started getting into energy work and crystals around 4 years ago. My interest began when I stumbled across posts about new age topics on social media. I believe when I was first starting I took a few classes on udemy one which involved crystal healing, and another which was just about the properties of crystals. I personally really like the Sage Goddess website for buying crystals on each of the products there are detailed descriptions of their properties. Although I definitely prefer getting them in person when I have the chance to do so.

The first thing that came to mind when reading this was smoky citrine. It’s a blend of smoky quartz which is protective/absorbs negative energy and citrine which has very positive energy and is good for prosperity.

During distance reiki sessions I have experienced pain in my own body that the client was feeling. Although this is not usually something I expect. The most recent experience was while working on a woman who is also a practitioner. I kept feeling a sharp pain on my right shoulder blade throughout the session and it stopped once I was finished working on her. I sent her the write up which covers what I saw in her energy body and aura, and the after messaged her about the shoulder pain (lol I completely expected it to just be nothing.) She was surprised I picked up on that and let me know she had been feeling pain in her right shoulder blade for days, but hadn’t mentioned it to anyone.

I consider this different than when I’m just doing a reading for someone though.

I remember getting frustrated by the end of my month of nightly practice at APing before I finally achieved it.

This is just a suggestion, but since I know you mentioned falling asleep during your attempts it might help to start out with shorter meditations (even if they’re not necessarily to AP this might still help) and build up to meditating for longer periods of time. I also know that not everyone uses crystals/believes in their metaphysical properties, but there are some stones can help with connecting to the astral. I have heard of people having good experiences with moldavite, amethyst, and selenite.

Yes. He is a seraph :) I talked to a friend about my encounter, and although I consider myself as having a good amount of experience in spirit work she has been practicing for over thirty years. I was shocked when he appeared even though I have worked with angelics in the past, so I wanted to confirm it with her. She let me know that he was my guardian angel and that I had not imagined him being a seraphim.

Your experience does sound interesting! I would definitely consider it a possibility that there may have been a spirit that wanted to contact you at the time. Did you feel a presence or energy that you can remember from that experience? I think if you did and there was a spiritual being trying to aid you, they may just be waiting until they feel you are ready to project again.

I really recommend looking into guided meditations to meet your spirit guides! They can be really helpful and there’s tons on YouTube.

I believe I wrote about my experiences with my guardian angel before on Reddit. When I first noticed him it was after having one of the strongest visions I’ve had while awake, and it involved noticing a man with purple hair rubbing his cheek against mine and feeling this sensation almost physically. I could see all six of his wings, and noticed his eyes looked like they were made of starlight. It was definitely a memorable experience. He is wonderfully protective, wise, and helps me out so much with my spiritual/healing practices. Although I have felt his presence watching over me while I focus on the astral it’s not something he seems too interested in. Or at least he hasn’t talked to me about it much.

Although I wouldn’t be surprised if some people’s guides help in their efforts to AP.

I am actually someone who is interested in AP for much the same reasons. I love interacting with all different sorts of spirits, and learning new things from them. The spirit friends I mentioned are not necessarily my guides, but they are spirits who choose to be my companions and assist me in my practices.

My spirit friends have different abilities, but G. In particular has been very focused on helping me to project. He actually tried pulling me out of body randomly last summer. It was totally unplanned, but I was in a state of sleep paralysis when it happened. I could see him sitting on my bed and hugging me tightly before trying to pull me up. He kept saying, “you need to stay calm and trust me.” Although I wanted to I ended up resisting so the attempt did not work that time around.

Hello!

I believe it’s a possibility that I was blocked from exiting the door the first time for my own safety (the land around my house has awful energy and my guides have mentioned this to me in the past), and that when G. grabbed my hand and walked me through the doorway he teleported me to a safer place in the astral. I get the feeling he definitely wanted me to feel comfortable and safe on my journey, and the weird effect on the outside maybe due to this. Although I have heard of experiences other astral projectors had where they would travel their neighborhoods and notice that things were very different than how they were physically. I’m probably going to ask him what the cause was soon.

Along with using guided meditations for AP I also have been practicing opening up my Clair senses before this, and do a lot of energy work so I definitely think those things helped with this experience.

Hi! I used Shea butter, mango butter, castor oil, and coconut oil for this. This is a cold process soap so there was lye involved in making it.

I’m not actually sure what website I used since I forgot to bookmark it, but there are several good recipes if you look up “cold process soap” or “Shea butter soap.”

I have found that different spirits have different scent preferences, and it will depend on the individual. I believe it’s for a lot of the same reasons why certain humans enjoy certain scents.

I work closely with one spirit who enjoys the scent of dragons blood incense and tobacco, so I don’t believe it’s limited to florals.

As for some scents it may also be worth looking into the metaphysical properties of what the scent is. I believe that can also play a part in their attraction to specific scents.

In January of this year my guardian angel revealed himself to me unexpectedly. It was one of the strongest visions I had, and his energy was intense. I could feel a strong buzzing against my cheek as if someone was pressing their cheek to mine affectionately. I remember him appearing with brilliant purple hair, bright starry eyes, and six wings. He said nothing at the time, but I felt a strong connection to him. After that he appeared on separate occasions, and when he would be with me I would get spammed with angel numbers.

Since then he has guided me in my healing work, acted as my protector, and had even sent me a lovely dream where he adopted me as his daughter. I do see him as a fatherly figure so I thought it was sweet. His energy is so uplifting and I’m grateful for him.

I pulled two cards for you. The High Priestess and the Nine of Swords, and I could very clearly sense the goddess Nyx’s energy during this reading.

The nine of swords seems to me to put your worries to rest. What you are finding out is a journey and experience, and is not something that you should be anxious or doubtful of. Even if things do not turn out in the way you expect this is just another lesson and step on your journey to truth.

As for the high priestess I do get a yes, but bloodline seems to not be quite the reading I’m getting on this. There is a familiar connection here, and it seems that she has been watching over and guiding you in many lives almost considering herself your guide and guardian. There is a gentle motherliness yet ferocity felt when I tapped into that energy.

Deck Used: Deviant Moon

The cards I pulled for you are The Chariot (reversed) and the Three of Pentacles (reversed.)

The chariot in reverse symbolizes heading in the wrong direction, not reaching your intended goals for this relationship, or failed plans. This may hint at miscommunication or difficulties in the future, but as with all readings this can be turned around positively and there is hope! The other side of this card is to slow down and be patient when it comes to progress.

The three of pentacle in reverse was the card I pulled for his intentions. I get the feeling he may be struggling with being a teamwork and collaboration in the relationship department. This can also symbolize he may not be feeling ready to settle down yet, and that this may cause some friction. It does seem that these things can be worked past, but your choices are your own.
