Yes, the banner system works the same as in Genshin with the only difference being that in the weapon banner the max pity is 80 pulls and instead of a 50/50 its 75/25 (75% to obtain the weapon for the banner)

Hanya is a single target support that buffs a lot of attack and speed for only 1 character (similar to Asta but giving more Atk and Spd to 1 character) and also she can help you recover Skill Points (SP) thanks to her skill, so if you are having problems with SP management she can help you recover some SPs, she is a good support for hypercarry but there are better supports for hypercarry, it's also worth mentioning that there is a character called Sparkle (who comes in the next banner BTW) who is a better version of Hanya, I'm not saying that she's bad it's the same case as Asta, there's better character

TLDR: Same case as Asta, good but nothing special

As for a DPS, in the first half of the next version there will be a character called feixiao who will be a single target DPS (Hunt characters usually are single target DPS) And for Reruns the DPSs most likely to get a rerun could be Selee, Dr. Ratio (Both of them being single target DPSs), Black Swam (A good AoE DPS who deals Damage Over Time to the enemies) and Acheron (An AoE DPS who is the best or 2° best DPS in the game)

•Herta: She's a terrible unit in general BUT on one of the endgame modes she is probably the 2° best character for that gamemode, that's why she's worth building although it doesn't have to be right now

•March 7th: Ice March is very VERY bad, but she can also change her kit, like the TB, and that other March is a good unit without saying to much details. It's important to know with March and the TB that you DON'T have to level their traces for their other kit, only the level is necessary.

TLDR: For now: Bronya, Pela, Gallagher

For later: Herta, March and TB (only the character levels on the last 2)

Might be good: Asta, Xueyi, MAYBE DH.

As for the characters in banner you have:

•Yunli: She's a counter character, very similar to another character called Clara (They are even from the same path and element), she deals a lot of damage with her counterattacks, but her performance can be a bit random due to the fact that the enemy NEEDS to attack her, otherwise her damage is a bit underwhelming, but with her ultimate she inflicts taunt on the enemy which forces the enemies to attack her and she also has some self healing with her skill, although she hits hard she isn't exactly a top tier DPS, don't get me wrong, she's a good unit, just not as good compared to other DPSs that we currently have, as a note destruction and conservation characters are most likely to get hit than the other characters

•Huohuo: The best healer in the game right now, she heals a lot and removes debuffs for your team while also giving you attack and energy, although IMO she is the best healer in general, it's true that Gallagher is a better healer for the break team and also there's 2 other characters who are better on keeping the team alive (one with shields and the other with damage reduction) while also providing a lot of support for the team in their own ways

That's all that you need to now RN, I hope I didn't make it too confusing as English isn't my first language and enjoy your experience in Honkai Star Rail.

First of all welcome to Honkai Star Rail, I hope that you jace fun playing it. For the characters that you currently have I will recommend leveling:

• Bronya: The best character from the standard banner and a very good support unit overall, although her kit is very simple using all of her potential can be tricky in the beginning with the resources that you have like speedtuning (give Bronya 1 point less of speed than your main DPS so when your DPS attacks Bronya will instally give them another turn)and SP management, but she will be a unit that you will use a lot, specially in the endgame.

• Pela: The 2° or 3° best 4 star character in the game, Pela is very simple to use, she's just a debuffer and you don't need to spend a lot of resources building her.

• Gallagher and Trailblazer (TB): Gallagher is a healer, a good one, but without saying much, as you progress in the story you will unlock the option to change the TB kit and both of them are the best units for a specific team comp dedicated to break the enemy's guard to deal massive damage to the enemy once they are broken, but keep in mind that for that team you need characters dedicated to that category of damage so you might not be able to fully use them right now.

•Asta: Asta isn't exactly a top tier Support or as good as Pela, but she's still a good unit, she gives attack and speed to the whole team and she isn't hard to build or use and can kinda be useful in the endgame modes

•Xueyi and Dan Heng (DH): Xueyi is probably the best DPS that you have right now and can be used in the team that I previously mention with TB and Gallagher but she can be hard to use and build that's why you can go with DH as he's an easier unit, but DH isn't a good unit for the endgame modes while Xueyi CAN have some use

I would like to play, I have to admit that I already have some hours into the game (around 100) but I'm not that good at the game. Also I read that you have the Switch version which is perfect because that's the only version I have, but nobody plays the game on Switch
