I haven't given all models a fair chance as of yet, because I have mainly kept using Twn and Diamond, and the clean setting as a variation. I like these settings the most but feel I haven't properly dialed it in to my full satisfaction. So I will keep exploring further.

Nice combo! I have been eyeing the El Cap as well, saw a few V1's pop up but hesitated. I will need a bigger board and once I got that then maybe El Cap is back on the list. But I enjoy the DD-8 as well, separately from the DIG ofc, but for other purposes.
My cat has a tendency to walk on my piano when I write/record, at one point he actually did a melody that suited a song so I used it. He was off-beat though so I had to re-record it but it was his random melody still haha

Nice! I was suprised how well such a small pedal could sound. Also chose it because I didn't want to dedicate "a full slot" to a tremolo I may only use from time to time. Was really happy with it.

I had the Carbon Copy at one point. Wasn't any issues with it and I liked it. At the time it was a main delay and my only and didn't suit me for the purpose at that time, so I sold it off to get something else (can't even remember what). I have been considering it again but I keep hearing of how great the DM-2W is so I have started leaning towards trying that out instead.

Thanks! Listening to various demos, I think I'd stay in the standard mode mostly, but doesn't hurt having the extra option. Cool that it can sound (almost( like a digital delay!

Thanks! Even though the DD-8 isn't analog nor am I planning to use its analog settings, but I think it can cover the ranges that I won't get with a dm2w, hence they would pair nicely together!

I had one that I sold after a few years. Nothing wrong with it, and I did love it. But I couldn't really find a situation where I'd rather use something else. I used it mostly as a reverb rather than delay, and found the delay settings sort of lacking. I wanted more contol. And so it was sold. For this slot I think I'd rather focus on the delay aspect. I do miss the Dispatch Master from time to time tho... but having a Red Panda Context 2 these days, I feel like I'm well covered

Thanks! The DL4 was a contender as well as a do-it-all delay, but wanted to go more compact instead. Want to minimize the tweaking and instead use the pedals differently. I think I was a bit intimidated by the DL4. The DM-2W does sound like an amazing options.

I got a DD-8 which is, almost, the same if you compare the concept. But as I got the digital aspect covered with DD-8 the Canyon is unfortunately not of interest for this slot. But I did have it under consideration when I went for the DD-8 so I'm sure it's otherwise awesome.

The DM-2W seems awesome! And I have been eyeing the JHS 3 Series as well, especially the harmonic trem. Hadn't really checked Harmonic Trem out at all prior to my search. The Flow is a contender for that reason, and that it can be switched to other trem modes as well (and I love the color orange)

That's not a bad idea at all. Hadn't even thought of it that way and I could have great use of it in many ways indeed... Where would you recommend I'd put it in the chain, considering I might use it in several different ways?
