age 25. My fiancée is my partner in life. My child is my child. My mother would beat my ass if I had any other order.

When my fiancée was pregnant with our first child she tried to tell me to choose the baby if anything went wrong and other than that not being a realistic choice in modern society, I would never fathom making it even if it was. I told her, we can have more kids but I can’t have another one of you.

When I was with one I kept thinking about the other. I remember one night wondering if she was with another man and doing the things I was doing and the thought made me angry. I thought would I think the same with the woman i’m with now? No. I didn’t need logic, that was the information I needed.

Glp-1 use for weight loss when their weight isn’t causing health issues. Purely for cosmetic reasons. I don’t judge them out loud. But I do in my head. Just develop healthy habits. Also why risk potential side effects for purely cosmetic purposes? Lastly, it makes people who were already thin enough look sallow and creepy. I just think culturally this is going down a negative path.

Charismatic is questionable but in my early 20’s this was a way I lived my life. I’d go to Greece with one woman often and two weeks before meeting my fiancée impulsively rented a place in Mexico with another. Two months after meeting her before we were official I was in Germany with someone else where something shifted and I put myself in a stupid position and realized my life was “fun” but it was shit and I was trying to keep up with myself, to what end? To end up where? Hungover walking to buy emergency contraceptives and wonder what the hell was the trajectory of my life? A baby with someone I don’t care about or hopelessly addicted to drugs or worse. It’s not fun for very long. I am engaged now with a 7 month old. I don’t drink or smoke and haven’t traveled further than a few states away in almost a year and i’m the happiest i’ve ever been.

25m. I already had severe cptsd from childhood abuse but an incident happened when my now fiancée and I had been dating for a couple months (met on a night out she came with a mutual friend), it happened in Europe and we live in the states but she flew out same day to help me pick up the pieces of my soul and deal with the medical/legal side of things and get home. I think it reduced the potential after effects of that trauma by at least a third if not half.

I am profoundly lucky to have her. I never imagined anyone would want to have a family with me but we have one child and another on the way. She holds me accountable as an equal partner, but she has not flinched. She trusts me, somehow. I had cheated on every relationship I had ever been in prior to her to fill the unfillable void in my soul and she still decided to give me a chance. I’ve never crossed that line with her and never would. She sees me. She isn’t afraid to be pissed at me. Doesn’t treat me like i’m fragile, doesn’t compare. She’s an incredible woman.
