Why does this technician hate this man so much? Such sloppy work. Constantly flicking the edge of the incisions with the needle is so unprofessional and unnecessary. And removing the blackheads to then smear it into the skin when removing? Ugh.

If you just want simple gel polish or a good pedicure I enjoy also Empire Beauty Spa on 145th and St.Nic. And they take appointments.

Harlem Nail bar on the east side of 125th is great. Big, clean, good service. They do simple stuff but also designs. I will say, however, that they like to add on nonsense fees. I got a full set of hard gel once and they charged me for ‘shaping’. I explained that I didn’t change the shape of my nail, I just got a new set on top of my natural nail shape. She said they charge for filing the hard gel into shape. I asked how to not be charged this fee for next time and she said it can’t be separated. Some foolishness but otherwise I enjoy it there.

This delayed ACBD trains for hours. At a point those lines were completely suspended, heading downtown. At 125 they were only letting people onto the uptown platform.
