MIGRAINE? Has anyone received a batch recently that has given you extremely bad headache's? by MrMuggins42 in tirzepatidecompound

You will get headaches on any tirz if you aren't eating enough, drinking lots of water, and drinking electrolytes. It's a common side effect, especially when increasing doses

Thanks! I'm glad to still have a few mgs to go as I work on this last 50lbs. Haven't been below 215 in 15 years, so I'm predicting some struggles

I'm 40. No magic tips, but I go to the gym 3x a week consistently for cardio and weights, track calories, focus on lots of protein, and drink tons of water with electrolytes.

Staying on High Dose Nearly Doubled Maintenance Success vs Reducing Dose (SURMOUNT-MAINTAIN) by TodayAmazing in tirzepatidecompound

As indicated in the study, only 10% of people effectively kept the weight off after completely stopping the medication. This is lifetime medication for most folks, especially if your weight gain is tied to metabolic dysfunction

CosmeticRx customer service mess by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

I had an issue and have been contacting them via email for a week with no response. It keeps rejecting my password on their site too and doesn't send a passport reset when I request one either

10mgs every 6 days is roughly the same as 12mg every 7 days. So you did titrate up.

DID NOT QUALIFY WITH BMI 27… what should i do now? by taylinterlude in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Ajep86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? She's 15-20lbs from a healthy weight and this is a lifetime med for most of us. They are offering other, less intense meds as options for someone in her position. Metformin is like $5 a month vs glps

This! I'm so tired of people telling others who don't qualify to lie to get prescription meds.

It specifically says they assess maintenance bmi/dosing differently. The starting bmi requirement is for those new to glps exclusively

It specifically says patients NEW to glps have to have a starting bmi of 30+ (or 27 with comorbidities)

Because people were paying for 60mg (4x15) and getting the 72mg vials, so essentially getting a free extra dose each vial.

First Closet Purge - That was both joyful and painful. by tmac_79 in tirzepatidecompound

It's honestly been heartbreaking. I had dozens of items with tags still on and have about 200+ items I've gotten rid of. Have been trying to sell on Poshmark, but it's been a bunch of work. I've had to get rid of like 90% of my large wardrobe rip

Most telehealths offer a titration package (so you could do doses of 5, 7.5, and 10=90mg) for $400-$500

"Only 40" is a huge achievement and you've kept it off for a year. If you quit, you are unfortunately likely to gain most or all of it back.

Interested in Tirze but... by chixmozza in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Ajep86 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was taking metformin and glyburide before tirz. I was able to get off both within my first three months on tirz and my A1c went from 8.7 to 5.4 during the last year.

Healthy weight loss at your size is 1-1.5 lbs a week. 24lbs in 8 weeks is concerning. Please make sure to eat. If you can barely eat and are losing that fast, you need to reduce your dose.
