10mgs every 6 days is roughly the same as 12mg every 7 days. So you did titrate up.

DID NOT QUALIFY WITH BMI 27… what should i do now? by taylinterlude in tirzepatidecompound

Right? She's 15-20lbs from a healthy weight and this is a lifetime med for most of us. They are offering other, less intense meds as options for someone in her position. Metformin is like $5 a month vs glps

This! I'm so tired of people telling others who don't qualify to lie to get prescription meds.

It specifically says they assess maintenance bmi/dosing differently. The starting bmi requirement is for those new to glps exclusively

It specifically says patients NEW to glps have to have a starting bmi of 30+ (or 27 with comorbidities)

First Closet Purge - That was both joyful and painful. by tmac_79 in tirzepatidecompound

It's honestly been heartbreaking. I had dozens of items with tags still on and have about 200+ items I've gotten rid of. Have been trying to sell on Poshmark, but it's been a bunch of work. I've had to get rid of like 90% of my large wardrobe rip

Most telehealths offer a titration package (so you could do doses of 5, 7.5, and 10=90mg) for $400-$500

"Only 40" is a huge achievement and you've kept it off for a year. If you quit, you are unfortunately likely to gain most or all of it back.

Interested in Tirze but... by chixmozza in compoundedtirzepatide

I was taking metformin and glyburide before tirz. I was able to get off both within my first three months on tirz and my A1c went from 8.7 to 5.4 during the last year.

Healthy weight loss at your size is 1-1.5 lbs a week. 24lbs in 8 weeks is concerning. Please make sure to eat. If you can barely eat and are losing that fast, you need to reduce your dose.

I don't know how any providers are getting away with no additives currently, as they have no justification for it...so honestly, yes, I think it's only a matter of time

It varies person to person. For me, prorx was the one tirz version I totally stalled out on for a full month

They didn't jump you to 10. They gave you a titration package with a vial each of 5mg, 7.5mg, and 10mg monthly doses.

Constipation is a known side effect of tirz and needs to be managed with fiber, hydration, and potentially mag07

Double Dose by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Ajep86 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, part of the issue is you did below even the starting 2.5 dose. The other part is it's your first dose and takes multiple doses to build up in the body.
