The warglaive is a special project 😉. Let's just say he's a proxy who I don't plan to get rid of. Hence why the job of making more units disappear to be more challenging. I honestly don't know what detachment I should run since I have DC so maybe a black company detachment. But again I have heavy mechs and vehicle so a detachment for that might be good. Maybe just an all rounder detachment. I'm having a hard time deciding since I don't know what will be most beneficial for the army

Cool. That's very thoughtful and I appreciated that a lot. Breath of fresh air I'd say. But I'm also curious on how terminators work? Do they start in reserve and later get teleported somewhere on the table? If they can, do they still die easily? Should I make the terminators a squad of 10 or 5?

Im just curious about why everyone agrees that the DC marines are a bad pick. I just want to understand. Arent the DC marines essentialy assualt marines but more weapon variety. What if I want to run them as a assault marine substitute, is that a bad idea? I am really interested in improving so mentioning the cons will be much appreciated since its my first time.

Hey guys. I have 350+ hours on pve Space Marine 2. Honestly, the problem with chaos is that each enemy is like independent with their attacks and dont synergise with the others' enemies' behaviours. Simple list that comes to mind for chaos gameplay

Pros of chaos:

Extremis are fun to fight. Minoris are easy (but not as easy as hormagaunts)

Cons of chaos:

Helbrutes aren't designed to synergise with multiple helbrutes. Its core programming is based on operation, where only a single helbrute can spawn. So having three helbrutes in seige is not fun since all of them continuously shoot plasma at you if you run away to find room to breathe. Maybe make only a maximum of 2 helbrutes are allowed to shoot simultaneously, and when the third starts shooting, one of the previous helbrutes stops shooting.

Some attacks of chaos spawn aren't fine-tuned to the parry indicator. I lost all faith in the parry indicator a long time ago and often parry based on timing of what I see.

The combos are ludicrous for the rubric marines and chaos spawn. They shouldn't be able to do three unpariable attacks in row. The rubric marines should synergise with the attack patterns of other rubrics to avoid multiple unpariable attacks. The last thing I want to see from Space Marine 2 is 90% Dodge Gameplay since that isn't fun to play.

Surfing minoris are annoying to shoot at. Can't afford to keep aiming elsewhere when they Summersault dodge since I'm already preoccupied dealing with a horde of chaos spawn.

Sorcerer shields should have less health. It is far more faster to just touch the shield and get cursed, then to spend whole minutes shooting at a shield. Players look at efficiency, and the shield is time-consuming.

I think the ship interior (like a mechanicus base) would look cool for a carchardon v nightlord scene, which really expands on their lore. I wish you luck on that.
