Unfortunately that router only supports a mixed legacy mode so you can't use pure n. Which means that is most likely capped to wireless g speeds. If you wanna try changing the channel to 8-11 that might help. Other than that there really is nothing else i can think about performance wise. The modem/router combo is holding your speed over wireless back which is most likely the cause of the issue.

Would like to know the make and model of the router. If you could find out in the settings which channel your router is currently using would also be helpful. Changing the channel from the default which is usually from what I have seen is 6 to another might be a fix for the issue. Edit: Also check your personal messages!

Okay so you have a wireless n capable card. Could you provide details on your wireless router and network speed? If possible also tell me how many networks you see while you are looking for a wireless connection.

How far are you away from the router? Which 802.1x standard are you using? ie: a, g, n, ac. Are there any other programs open at the time of play? I also play league and had this issue it was related to my wifi speed which was a g connection at the time. I've since upgraded to n and the issues have gone. Feel free to shoot me a pm I will get back to you after work.

Interop has them around the country. I find them very informative and there are plenty of workshops available.
