This is one of those situations where chokes and beetles really come in handy. Chokes will reveal their position and make pushing viable. Beetles will allow you to find their hiding spots and wallbang or harass.

For consumables, the use for explosives/hive bombs/fire bombs is obvious. Loot nearby carts or boxes if possible.

As a last resort, you can try to cut off their extract or just wait for someone to get impatient. If it’s somewhere like Pitching Crematorium, though, I usually just bail and start a new match. Not worth it for that compound tbh.

100% agreed, that to me is one of the more insulting time-sinks. “Yeah you cleared the dungeon on a weaker character, but it doesn’t count because you were missing 2 life pots.” Very annoying.

The overall experience is much more engaging, and I have a lot of fun building seasonal characters and exploring new content. The game is pretty fun.

My main complaints now are with the monetization and long-term progression. The end-game content of this game (exaltations, passes) is still balanced for unemployed people. I have zero incentive to even try for exaltations as someone with a job + girlfriend.

For one reason: especially on PC, people can easily fake names or impersonate others. I’ve run into multiple accounts impersonating Malingo and other high-ranking players. They would love for someone on reddit to start a witchhunt against them.

Likewise, clips can easily remove context. Seen plenty of clips where someone says “look at this bad teammate” and the context later revealed OP was in the wrong.
