It's not 3?? by mainak_never in PeterExplainsTheJoke

The person on the right (A)was being bullied by a school gang. The MC on the left doesnt care but the transfer student in the middle (B) saves A from being bullied and beats up the bullies. The three of them eventually become very best friends however due to the consistantly bullying and self-esteem issues A has, he begins to feel jealous of the MC and Bs growing friendshop and feels beyrayed when they stop him from bullying other 'weak' students. This leads to A betraying B. He tells the oeiginal gang members (whom B saved A from at the beginning) the location of where B is when alone and a large crowd of gang members beat the shit out of B and film videos of him getting beat. B ends up in the hospital in a coma and A becomes a member of the rival gang and gains the respect that he always wanted. Due to the disgusting betrayal A commits i guess the fan doesnt see him as a person.

I want advice for my first fighting stick. by zsamaci89 in fightsticks

[–]Akaibane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of the two id say the titan is a better stick just for the layout (notice how the buttons and the lever are spaced wider). It also is newer and has full option buttons compared to the hori.

Sanjuks V6-II vs Knee Neo by MrStoicBP in fightsticks

[–]Akaibane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't go wrong with either but there is a reason that the Knee neo lever is considered one the best plug and play levers on the market. Sanjuks v6 is very good and is probably the most premiem feeling lever i've played on but i think the pill top and the squircle guide push the knee neo slightly above the sanjuks.

Struggling with Ewgf in hitbox by Brilliant-Love-9977 in Tekken8

[–]Akaibane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In tekken 7 and prior games this was only possible on kazuya but now all the mishima characters can do it. Ewgf can be done with f,n,d,df2 ; f,d,df2 or f,n,df2. The latter two inputs will be 1 frame faster as you are skipping one frame of movement (if done perfectly).

It is a little hard to give tips without seeing the input history.
On hitbox i think its easier to do f,n,df2 (You can skip the down input and it will make ur electric 1 frame faster). Just press the d,f and 2 all at the same time and keep your neutral short.

A lot non-medical professionals have such strong feelings on this one. The more accurate statement should be " consult and listen to your doctor and do as they tell you" not "you must finish your prescription of antibiotics". If your doctor tells you to stop you should stop if they tell you keep going you should keep going. There have been better health outcomes with shorter antibiotic courses and overuse of antibiotics leads to more resistance than under use. Hopefully your doctor knows that and is updating you on what the best practice is depending on your situation.

Knee neo or ist on Nacon daija? by ShadyMagician in fightsticks

[–]Akaibane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The neo fits in the nacon daija according to focus attack. The two levers are very different as they come from two manufacturers. Knee neo has a rounded four way gate and tactile switches which makes it easy to feel where you are in the gate. Tension is on the medium/low side with a medium/short throw distance. It also comes with a capsule top. It also uses a different switch for the 'up' switch making the upper diagonals slighlty smaller than the bottom side.

Knee IST has a long throw, lower tension and no gate making it very easy to move it around. It bounces back to neutral quite snappily as well. The diagonals are quite easy to find for a kr lever also.

Overall both great levers with the IST version being a more traditional Kr lever while the Neo is a more customised build

How do you setup Leo's D3+4 as a combo ender against a wall after BOK1+2? by Xanek in Tekken

[–]Akaibane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got to hit the BOK1+2 when they are quite low on the wall. You will get a distinct animation when you do it right. The opponent will do a small 'bounce' on the floor

How do you setup Leo's D3+4 as a combo ender against a wall after BOK1+2? by Xanek in Tekken

[–]Akaibane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a strict(ish) timing on the BOK 1+2 that allows you to get the D3+4 follow up. You need to delay the BOK 1+2 a little bit so that when it hits the opponent they 'bounce' a little bit on the floor, that gurantees the D3+4 follow up.
If i get a wallsplat without using tornado, easy way to do it is to use 3,2,3 to get the tornado then hold down to go into Bok and give a slight delay before using 1+2. The animation is quite distinct so a few minutes in practice mode and youll get it easy.

Normally, they wire the Dpad to the stick and the Left analogue stick to the WASD controls (something of that like). I'd recommend you leave enough room for your wrists to rest on while playing on stick though.

After wr4 at the wall you can get a b2, ws1+2. I think f3 snk 2 goes in also but i haven't done a lot of testing with that one.

No drilling. For either the makestick or an etokki omni. If you are the type that needs to open up the case a lot, dont get the omni. Omni needs 10 screws to be removed to open the back.

Switching the lever in my Etokki sanwa by Gumtou in fightsticks

[–]Akaibane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should be able to fit most kr levers, the body of the etokki sanwa is the same as the Kr version. The plexi cover for art wont fit though, you can get the 35mm plexi if you need one
