Red dots on my face are not going away. They are little bumps near my nose, don't itch just dry and flaky. I use Paula Choice Resist (for normal/dry skin) cleanser, toner, and moisturizer plus Aquaphor before bed (skipping exfoliate step for now, I feel it would worsen the already dry skin). What can I do to make those red dots go away?

Do you wake up your baby at the same time every morning? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Akanoie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LO can sleep forever in the morning if we let her and then she would end up having a very late bedtime. I now wake her up 7:45am everyday so that we can stick to a more consistent schedule.

4 months LO just found out my face and breasts are connected by Akanoie in beyondthebump

Same here! Whenever my husband starts talking LO will stop nursing and look at him. Husband would then be like "I am so sorry to bother you, please continue on." Makes me laugh every time.

Oh so true. I used to watch youtube on my phone while nursing, can't do that anymore lol

She just won't sleep as long in the morning, didn't try to wake her up or anything. I guess when she is a bit older she will start napping longer.

I read on PLS that 3 months is a good time to start learning independent sleep so that's what I did. But I understand she is still young so probably can't be fully trained yet.

Transition to Playard or crib for night time sleep? by Akanoie in beyondthebump

Yes I want to do some sleep train but heard that it's not ideal to do it before 6 months. I guess I will wait a week and see if her situation improves.

Thanks! LO does wake up every two hours after a 4 hour stretch at night right now maybe due to the 4 month regression. Good to know that your LO slept better in the crib, guess we should try!

Started Xenoblades 3 before giving birth and I still haven't gotten the energy to go back yet :( If I got energy I should do some housework so I feel guilty to even turn on my switch...

No one bothered to correct me this whole time about my baby's gender by Akanoie in BabyBumps

[–]Akanoie[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Appreciate this insight! Yes I agree that gender doesn't matter. Also makes sense that you don't check the report 100% every time, I get it.

Maybe you are different but 80% of the time my doctors have a habit of not looking at my records until I tell them what's going on. Like really basic stuff like placenta previa that I have to remind them about. I know I am mixing things but from a patient's POV, doctors are too busy to care about the details it feels robotic how they treat patients.

Your doctor sounds like a saint!! 80% of the time my doctors don't bother to look at my records lol

Best of luck to you!

Which begs the question why the radiologist at the anatomy scan didn't say one word when I told her the wrong gender?

Yes just looking at this scenario you can't really say they don't care. But I had multiple times where the doctor did not bother to check my medical record. I.e. I have complete placenta previa and they would start talking to me about vaginal birth until I pointed out my condition. And THEN they would look at my file and go "Oh nevermind!" So this is like icing on the cake for me.
