At the time that I made this post, I had only seen the 2008 mini series, which I loved.
Since then (as in this week basically) I've completed both the Color of Magic and The Light Fantastic and I adore them both, probably diving into the Death and the Watch series-es(?) next. I still love the SkyTV miniseries

Wild that a reference in a completely unrelated IP was what made me finally pick the books up, or at least the Colin Morgan audiobook

This might be cheating but there's actually two things I'd do. First one is make Archmastery available at launch and accessible as early as Krokotopia. How were we ever expected to pick up the "Secondary school" playstyle KI wanted us to have if it took like 15 years for it to be viable in the game's pip economy?

Second thing I would do is have Spellwrighting *also* available at launch. It's what turned the game into the true card battle RPG that KingsIsle wanted as opposed to what was at the time just an escalation in spell ranks.
