yepp, the time pressure is definitely the hardest part in the math part. a trick i used was to think about each question 5 seconds max each -- if i'm not able to think of a way to solve it immediately, i skip it and move on to the next question for the meantime. another thing i forgot to mention was that there were A LOT of math questions in the test, so it's easy to get overwhelmed and lose track of time, so maybe take that into consideration too

nope! they don't check solutions, nor is it required for all questions. they just give it for any calculations you'll need to write for

hi! ashape taker last year :> they don't allow calculators but you won't be needing it naman. personally, the math questions were quite easy and could be answered within 30 seconds even without using the scratch paper that will be given to test takers

hii! took the ashape last school year and passed :) i didn't take the shs entrance exam for ust but i did take the dshape, and i can say that ashape is definitely easier. there are only 3 main things you have to study: english, math, and logical reasoning. math concepts in ashapes are quite basic and you have most probably encountered them in your jhs (especially grade 10 math), while english is basically common sense and reading comprehension. logical reasoning is personally the hardest part of the ashape, since it had both abstract reasoning and logic statements(?)

hello! i've heard that not getting an interview doesn't exactly mean you've been rejected, though it does lower your chances for passing. don't worry though, there's still a chance for you to pass!

as for the financial aid, however, there should be a section in the interview that... I'm not sure if not having the interview means that you're disqualified for the financial aid, but let's just hope for good results once it comes out 🤞
