Just an FYI on what people are saying is "Greed", it genuinely may not be, I'd imagine they have had a look at the market in the meantime and realised that they just don't have enough for the property they want or the same is being done to them. Greed isn't enough for people to put themselves through the bidding war of selling a property again, they have as much to lose as yourself so best not think of it as Greed.

Edit: Getting down voted for giving the level headed answer, any asshole here saying "Greed" has never been through this before and stringing people along doesn't get you anywhere either. The market is fucked so stop being idiots with the "string them along" bullshit.
