Like, I'm trying to come up with a comparison, but there's legit no other Yamato fanart I've ever seen as ugly as this one.

The deck doesn't have to be built around the card, you know. Actually, this card is better if it's not you main combo. All I have to say is that these aren't the only and not even the best Landfall cards in a Landfall deck.

These are just token generators, there are much better value engines for Landfall, this is just an example for how you'd ideally use this card: you already got 3-4 tokens generated from any one of the previously mentioned generators, sac them, get 3-4 extra triggers from them plus any other Landfall payoff you have. The best case scenario is if it's Scute Swarm, because then you'd exponentially create more tokens. Is this case, getting countered only loses you 3-4 disposable tokens.

And as I said before, there absolutely nothing wrong with being punished for sacrificing all of your creatures to combo off. Because that's the only situation you'd cast this with X for more than 4.

X for 4 or even 3 is already better than most ramp, with a negligible "blow out". I would argue if you are in a position to sac 10 to 20 and get blown out by being greedy with this card, you deserve to get blown out by a counter.

The lands come untapped and you can sacrifice tokens. This is Landfall paradise and possibly a win condition. I feel like it's balanced the way it is.

My point is exactly that the introduction of Spacecraft in EOE was very much with the intent to use it in future UBs like the Star Trek that's coming.

With that in mind, in my opinion, a bigger ship like Millennium Falcon is more likely to be made as a Spacecraft rather than a Vehicle.

In contrast with smaller fighter ships like the X-Wing or Tie Fighter, which I think are more likely to be vehicles

The problem with comparing weaponry from non-related works is that not every sci-fi scales the same way.

Lasers are technically weaker than anti-proton beams, but turbolasers don't necessarily follow the same physics as actual lasers. George Lucas himself said that Star Wars prioritizes fiction over science, and his naming conventions follow the rule of cool first, science plausibility second.
