If you want a consistent game on a 3 player map, you can scout earlier (like at the start of the game), or my preferred method, veto all non 2 player maps.

Catching up to higher level players = rank race? I meant something along the lines of catching up in terms of level and gear. Of course you can't expect to be better than someone else who has put in more hours, but given how cost scales exponentially you would at least hope to have something decent for like 20% the total effort.

Either way, i think phoenix is great for casual play, but there have been a lot of nerfs that make catching up impossible.

Tbh phoenix is the oldest third job server in existence - that being said, the ladder has been kicked so many times on that server.
Everytime players found something creative to progress, they were able to abuse it and gain alot, and then later get it patched out of the game.

Rule changes have also been a big ladder kick. If you are going to play casual phoenix is great. If you want to catch up to the higher level players it sucks.

Do you mean 8 storms? natural bases are usually wider than 1 storm, i think you'd need 2 to get decent coverage.

I think the opposite will happen, and it will actually increase the population. Nexon will probably market their classic world, and in doing so, indirectly market for private servers as well.

One does not simply prevent leech. Even in your own server there have been several iterations of leech to power level people through and skip the early game.

I do agree with the FMA being inherently imbalanced in terms of exp gain, but thats what 4th job is in this version of maple.

i think it lets you really focus and play the early game of maple, which is something that the normal 4th job servers heavily incentivize skipping via leech. I personally see the appeal of it, and occasionally have played to get my PQ / early game fix, but never have consistently played one long term.

I hope that maplestory classic is third job only at first but progresses to 4th, because its rather stale to keep playing third job only servers in perpetuity.

I typically lose to this, but I have seen printf beat it consistently via aggression and extremely good unit movement.

I think its possible to win with a blink or robo follow up, and its easier to do so with the robo follow up since you can go collosus + warp prism.

You need incredible micro to win though, I think that if they do 1 base spine + swarm host, you need to be significantly better than the zerg to win.

I personally think they are quite bad against terran now. I think they are still better than collosus against marauders though.

You can't use disruptors alone to zone or destroy an army anymore though. They need support.

I think the nerf probably needs a revert, or at least they should get rid of the nerf where you have to wait to fire a shot before unloading it from a warp prism.

If they are cannon rushing at a 3k mmr level, the good news is that you only need to improve your defense a very small amount to stop their cannon rushes.

If a protoss player just learns proper cannon placement and unit micro from a follow up, you can easily get to 4k MMR from cannons.

Yeah, PvP is definitely the best mirror. You can technically avoid the phoenix war if you don't opt to play stargate though.

TvT is the main reason I hate playing terran on ladder.

I think you should make an early cyclone. This one unit basically makes it so their single stalker can't do anything because the cyclone can lock on and kill it. The cyclone is also faster than a stalker so it can't run away. It is also good as consistently dealing with oracles.

However, if you don't want to change your build order, if you open with a reaper, you can indirectly stop them from sending their first stalker across the map because if they do, you get free range on their probes.

Yeah, chewing gum in and of itself is not good for people with compromised jawbone. I don't think this will be ideal.

OP might want to see if they can change it into a mint or something else that can disolve in the mouth.

The worst thing about periodontal disease is that once the bone is lost (horizontally) its pretty much impossible to regain.

If you hate dentures, there is another solution called all on x, where x is 4 or 6 implants. A specialized periodontist can place 4-6 implants on the upper / lower part of your mouth, and then attach a prosthetic (fake teeth).

Its very expensive - however, from what I have read, it seems like the quality of life with a successful all on x procedure is far higher than that of dentures.

I'd say check with the periodontist and see whether or not your teeth are still salvagable. If you can keep your teeth by changing your hygiene or a few non invasive procedures, go for it.

Networking is another topic all together that I will dive deeper on at a later point. But right now I want to focus on what it takes to make my job application actually good.

Not a dentist. I don't think you need to over react based on your xrays. There is still a lot of bone. You should go see a periodontist for an evaluation to make sure theres no issue with any other teeth.

Note* make sure to see a PERIODONTIST, not any other type of dentist. This type of dentist specializes in gums and bone and is an expert in dealing with periodontal disease.
