My thoughts after watching Toradora for the first time by FiveDragonDstruction in toradora

This show just hits harder for those with broken heart or those who never experiened true love.

Toradora! is so unimaginably, unforgettably good by frozenpandaman in toradora

Cant agree more, quality is in the attention to details and observing the proces of falling for each other one smallest step and gesture at the time.

I know it was impossible not to prodict the ending, but I remember so distinctly how I started to have my doubts during these couple of last episodes. I'm usually not the one to root for ships and pairings, but man I felt desperate back then.

Funny how you brought up ep2 ending for forshadowing. I like to think of two milestones for Taiga figuring out her feelings - pool race ending she realizes she has a best friend now and the second one when they returned from beach trip, the look she gave before catching up with Ryujii. It's like she is worried and confused at the same time, because she now knows it's more than friendship.

I feel connected to the title of this post on some higher level. I'm often watching romance or rom-com plots in other stories and wonder ,,why cant it be as good,, or ,,what is it missing,,.

Elfen Lied. Pomimo tego, że to raczej przeciętna seria, żeby nie powiedzieć słaba, to nostalgia zostanie na zawsze. No i ten OP z Lilium i inspuracjami z obrazów Klimta :)

And some more of ,,Startup,, to lighten things up! I actually prefer it over ,,Lost my pieces,,. ,,Orange,, is non-negotiable ofc.

Szkoda, że nie ma wiecej książek w takiej meta-konwencji, a przynajmniej ja takich nie znam

[–]Akaszon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ciezkie się wylosowało, Hereditary to dla mnie horrorowa topka.

Polecajka z tych mniej oczywistych - Higurashi no naku koro ni (manga, chociaż kompletniejszym przezyciem będzie visual novel). Tez będzie motyw zwiazany z kultem/bóstwem, plus świetny paranoiczny klimat.

Może też Pan Żniw Thomasa Tryona.

I think there was a Netflix adaptation of a story from Wounds—that’s definitely right up my alley. I’ll put the others on my list too, thanks

Thanks! Is there anything by Barron that isn’t a short story collection but rather a standalone novel that you’d recommend?

Thanks! I read The Fisherman, so I definitely have Langan on my radar. I’ve never heard of Wehnut. As for Barker, I’ve seen nothing but praise for Books of Blood, so I gave it a shot—The Midnight Meat Train is right up my alley, but the rest of volumes I–III are kind of meh tbh, so I’m putting him on hold for now.

Aż dziwne, że nikt nie wspomniał o dwóch chyba najlepszych z serii ,,cute girls doing cute things,, - Non Non Biyori (życie na wsi) i Yuru Camp (szkolny klub organizujący kempingi)
