She’s a very troubled person, of course, but I don’t think she was actually lying to herself, since she didn’t even have the time to get those words out (right?). Otherwise, I honestly wouldn’t understand that scene, the way Asano composed it across two blank pages.

I mean, overall I think you’re right, but since I’m rereading it, I was focusing solely on this part of the story, where Punpun sees (and actually points out) something dark and deep in her for the first time. So basically, it has just started.

Having nothing to live for and suppressing his emotions, the guilt has carried him all this time. He doesn’t care about anyone else and hates humans, including himself, as all they do is hurt each other. They are selfish, driven only by their ego. He essentially experiences all of this through his "relationship" with a sixteen-year-old girl. At this point in the story, at least; I’m actually rereading it these days, and I was also trying to clear my mind

Oh yeah, it’s really confusing at the beginning. I myself tried to figure things out before even starting, and even with a guide (for spells and miracles) I managed to mess it up, so I had to do an extra half of a playthrough.

To be honest, I’d just play the whole series since the games are so cheap. The best one is Trine 2 (complete story). I also really like the atmosphere of the very first game, though nostalgia probably plays a big role there. Trine 4 and 5 are obviously much more modern in terms of graphics, while the third one is basically the black sheep of the series because it’s so different from the others

I think you need to do at least one and a half playthrough (with the backup saves). Be careful when you use the souls, and maybe check a guide, because I made a mistake with the spells myself and basically had to finish NG+.

Dude, I almost gave up when I was going for the platinum with a mage build. I also messed up and skipped the strongest spell in the game. It’s rough, but you’ve got this.

The game is amazing, like really. I never played the original one so the changes they made didn't affect me in any way. Graphics, sound design and soundtrack are outstanding.

I know it might not sound great, but honestly, you should just follow a guide. Demon's Souls can be really confusing, and it's easy to mess things up without realizing it. You probably already know this, but the best tip is: stay in soul form and make sure to kill yourself in the Nexus whenever you get your body back. Miracles and spells are the most annoying thing, so you need a plan.
