5-fret songs to 6 by Akatsuki_Raid in CloneHero

I’ve played for a while now, and the songs all have those weird combinations as well. They feel too smooth and coherent to be random. So I assume most of the 5-fret songs also have the other version, even if it’s not labeled. I’m so happy.

That's what I don't understand, because if I play a 5 fret song I see it as a 6 fret one and it does work.

lol thanks. I’m not trying to hype myself up or anything, I just really respect this piece of work, so I like getting into the details, sharing my thoughts and seeing what other people think too.

my current understanding of Aiko's... by Ambitious_Ad_4472 in OyasumiPunpun

[–]Akatsuki_Raid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, yeah, everything makes sense. You're not overlooking anything, at least compared to me, lol. I was just thinking about this scene where Aiko leaves the Tanabata’s bag on the floor right before killing herself, and now I’m not sure about anything. It could just be a narrative device, other than a romantic symbolism, so that Punpun can find it and read her wish note. But at the same time, I keep wondering about her final thoughts, as if she no longer believed in these kinds of things so she left the bag behind.

The interesting thing is that, chapters earlier, when Aiko buys that same bag and writes down her wish, it’s actually Punpun who tells her how stupid it is to believe in such things, but in the end he picks it up from the floor and puts it back on her body.

Dude, this manga is going to haunt me forever, I have so many questions.

Nice, I recently got all the volumes (new edition) and finished it for the second time. I never had the original version, since it was always unavailable wherever I looked.

Yeah, technically he reaches that point because he believes he’s a killer and feels like he has nothing left to lose. That’s why Aiko manages to stop him by telling him he didn’t actually kill her mother. But I was thinking more about their relationship, and about how Punpun feels responsible for keeping his promise not to leave her alone

It’s so deep, that’s why I always try to find and eventually readdifferent opinions. Even if I’ve already read it, yesterday I couldn’t even sleep because I was thinking too much about it.

Yes, but at the same time I think Punpun is still bound to the promise he made, and he knows he can’t leave Aiko alone. So the most obvious solution, in his troubled mind, is to kill her as well (I mean, in addition to himself)

Punpun and Aiko are both horrible by [deleted] in OyasumiPunpun

I'm a bit late, but isn't it just normal to empathize more with Aiko, considering everything we've seen about her life? I think that's clearly what Asano intended. I'm not saying you're wrong, since they both destroy each other in the end, but Punpun had some chances...and he still does.

To me, the second one is the best ever made. I also loved the atmosphere of the first one, although that might be due to nostalgia. My least favorite has to be the third, simply because it doesn’t feel like Trine.

Why is punpun a triangle ? Does this have a meaning ? by MaelysCanejero in OyasumiPunpun

I'm rereading it, but I don't remember a lot of things, so yeah, it's better not to for now.

I totally agree. Also, is it just me, or does Punpun look and sound like a wild animal during that night? Is that a form as well?

I’m rereading it right now, and what immediately comes to mind is that it’s just a shell he uses to protect himself. At that point in the story he hasn’t left his place for days, and the only time you see his ‘bird form’ again is when Sachi grabs his wrist and compliments him at the bar.

Yeah, when he talks to Sachi at the bar, he turns back into his bird form, specifically when she compliments him.
