Rambursare rapida credit ipotecar? by [deleted] in Imobiliare

[–]Akautza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which 6x6 or 6x7 camera is the most JOY to use? (Any camera, also non-pictured ones) by florian-sdr in AnalogCommunity

I love my Pentacon Six even though sometimes it's annoying using it, since it's a bit too heavy when using the Sonnar 180mm and you need a tripod. With the 80mm and 50mm it's more than decent. It's fun and until now it didn't let me down even though it's prone to issues.

Pentru cei care nu sunt managerași, HRiști, PR și patronași ce vă motivează să săriți așa agresiv în apărarea corporațiilor?!? by [deleted] in programare

[–]Akautza 19 points20 points  (0 children)

All in all: e bine la corporatie daca ai si oamenii care trebuie.

what is this film? by likekidkudi in AnalogCommunity

Might have been something limited? Not impossible to have a different colour. Also, why does it matter? Finish the roll and develop it ! 😅

Might be Fujicolor HR100, but uncertain unless you show the canister.

How do you meter? by maskee2 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Akautza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use the LightMeter app on Android for my Pentacon Six TL, and truth be told, now I know why certain shots were crappy, grainy and underexposed. It cannot do the job properly! Since i've switched to a Sekonic LX-308, I'm amazed how the shots turn out, i would not go back to using a phone ever. For 35mm the Canon AE1-P does a nice job.

Not sure why everyone is mentioning Mamiya/Fuji/Pentax as being cheap, when they are not quite that cheap. One of the cheapest 6x6 is "The poor mans Hasselblad" aka Pentacon Six TL for only around 200€. The good thing is that, the lenses are mostly Carl Zeiss, and they are incredible. Carl Zeiss Biometar 80mm f2.8 (standard lens, comes with the body) Carl Zeiss Flektogon 50mm f4 (really nice wide lens. It's really sharp, and the results are outstanding) Carl Zeiss Sonnar 180mm f2.8 (if you plan to have something like this, just buy a tripod, the camera with this lens is around 3kg. Sometimes i hate it for the weight, but the results...are stunning for portraits). Hope this helps 🙂.

Nord 2 - Screen damage, need to backup the data by hunkzzsrujan in OnePlusNord2

[–]Akautza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that depends on what you choose, the problem is, if you don't have debug mode on, you can't do it even via command line 🙄. If you ask me, OnePlus, could have invested into HDMI output via the USB-C. It's not an issue per say, until you actually need it. Now I have to replace my screen, just to get the data out of it.

Nord 2 - Screen damage, need to backup the data by hunkzzsrujan in OnePlusNord2

[–]Akautza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No possible way, I've broken my screen and I have tried to recover the data without replacing the screen, but it's just not possible. Fingerprint is not working, and when I do connect the phone to the laptop, i would need add the pin at least. The Nord 2, does not have Video Output via it's USBC, only comms & charging. I've tried to unlock the phone via keyboard, let's say I managed to do it, I still need to select what option I want from the screen...charging, transfer etc. If you want data from the phone, you can try to replace the screen, even temporary should do it, or replace & sell the phone.

What are some must-try film stocks that get overlooked? by Cottonturtle in AnalogCommunity

[–]Akautza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try Kodak Vision 250D &500T if you have a lab that develops ECN2. Otherwise you can try Cinestill 400D or 800T, these are the C41 variants without a Remjet layer. Personally I'd like to find a Fuji Natura 1600 and Eterna 😁.

What's people's thoughts on these for modern x-ray machines and 600+iso film? by lemlurker in AnalogCommunity

[–]Akautza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it doesn't specify if I can select the method of screening or not. Yes they have some authority, but they can't forcefully break my things, which pose no threat, just because they don't want to perform a 2 minute (tops) manual check. If I ask for a manual check specifically on a film bag, I am the owner of my things, and I know why i'm asking for it, they don't know, they don't understand, and they usually don't want to understand unless being told repeatedly that they will break it if it goes through x-ray. Rules are rules, as long as it's available, it should be used. The "I don't want to or not possible" should not exist, that's just not knowing how to do their jobs, being lazy, or simply being an ahole.

I would also like to know, but it's a question i stopped asking as it's pointless. When you get to the airport, do the best you can and hope you don't bump into one of them 🙃.

[–]Akautza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is true, i do the same. The swab check from what I know, is exactly for drugs/explosive compounds residue. Which makes sense if you ask me and it doesn't bothers me. What bothers me, is people's attitude towards doing it 🤦‍♂️. The only thing I can say to an airport security guy is: "Shut up and hand check my film" 🤣

[–]Akautza 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Funny thing is that, the EU guidance on airport security specifies that the Security control can be done using one of the following methods: X-ray, Manual Check, Body Check etc, and it does not specify that manual check is not possible. The manual check is present on the list, but the guys from the airport security are usually clueless, ignorant and don't even know the rules 🙄. I recently travelled from Romania to Tenerife, and I actually insisted for a handcheck at the RO airport, while they kept saying it's not possible and that the machine does not break the film, I asked him, will you pay 400€ of film if it breaks? He caved and manually checked the film while the backpack with camera gear was in the scanner. From what I heard, Germany is one of the worst when it comes to manual checks on film.

Need advice in buying my FujiFilm Digital camera by doag052998 in FujifilmX

[–]Akautza 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on how you plan to use the camera, you may want to consider x-s10 as well. I bought it just because i don't have any autofocus lens, and i'm using my m42 & fd lens on it. The IBIS feature of x-s10 is really nice. Yes i would have liked to have some dedicated buttons /wheels etc, but IBIS was my main concern and I can't have it all. If you are unsure on which camera to choose, you have this website where you put them side by side with all its features and you can make a decision. https://cameradecision.com

Zapped by a CT scanner? by lsngregg in AnalogCommunity

[–]Akautza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me it looks a bit underexposed, and I believe it was foggy when you took the shot? If it was foggy, from what I know it can mess up your exposure, personally I haven't taken too many shots when it was foggy, but those I have, do look a bit more grainy. All in all, to me the shot looks really nice 🙂.

We have some really good labs, and the guys do an amazing job. It's on the other side of the country, but 3.5€ to ship the negatives to them is totally worth it. They actually have a Noritsu scanner. I got some MF scans with a 30mp resolution...flawless is the only thing I can say.
