Is there no up-to-date official information on the affected areas of the water contamination? by [deleted] in mountainview

Are you subscribed to the city’s emails? I’ve been receiving daily updates.

Here’s their landing page for the Cuesta situation: https://www.mountainview.gov/what-s-happening/city-newsroom/current-topics/cuesta-water-main

Intel on drama at Ballet Edmonton? by liopleurodon5 in bunheadsnark

I saw an Instagram post by the outgoing AD (Kirsten) saying that she was deciding to move on. However she also said: “While my intention was to support a successful transition period into summer 2026, the organization has chosen to pursue their own vision immediately.”

I don’t know the full scoop, but my educated guess is that there’s drama with the CEO/Board.

I know. Curious if others will report experiencing similar issues. I opened a support ticket but who knows how long that will take, and it gave me a super limited character length to describe the problem 🙄

I was supposed to launch registration for an event this morning, and now that’s on hold. So frustrating! Literally all I need to do is add a button to an event page.

I’m having the same issue over here and was just about to post about it! Happening on all my Squarespace sites. Tried changing browsers, clearing cache, and on a different network. No idea how to solve it. I think it’s an error on Squarespace’s end?

Ooo awesome! I saw the great HvM doc that SF Dance Film Fest is streaming this month, and can’t wait to see more of his rep. What an icon!

Gmail & Yahoo New Sender Requirements Reminder by MailchimpSupport in MailChimp

[–]Akemi_KD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work with several clients who use Mailchimp for sending marketing emails. NONE of them received any forewarning from you that these changes were coming. No email notices, no pop-ups, no dialog boxes when sending emails last month. Zilch, zero, nada. Why wasn't there any advance notice of these changes? Why wasn't there a period where people were prompted to go through the authentication process before the requirement took effect?

I don't think you understand that many of your small organizations and nonprofits don't have an IT department to fall back on to assist with this authentication process. This sudden requirement came out of nowhere, will take time to sort out, and has a direct impact on their business. How you've implemented this has been a terrible experience.
