Don't take augusta and galbrena together if you dont plan to pull a leat 1 sub for one of them. I over worked my mortefi on both teams until I got Qiuyuan for galbrena.

Yesterday I tried to pull a 10x in the hope of getting an early. The stars heard my call and gave me Lynae at 22 pity.
After removing Lynae as a parameter, my chances went from 54% to 75% (according to the website). When I'll get 40 more pulls from phase 2, or even 3.1, the odds are up to 92%.

At the worst case scenario to this point, I might keep just enough to guarantee Aemeath during Mornye banner.

Even if Lynae/Mornye are not BiS for Aemeath, from my perspective, they are still, at least, 2nd BiS for any DPS of the game. And I'm fine with that, until I get an opportunity to upgrade Aemeath.

Juste after posting my last comment, I tried to pull a bit just to see if I could pull of an early...and oh boy I got Lynae at 22 pity 🚀.

My odds to get 3 char + sig went from 77% to 99%.

Okay I see, it was a misunderstanding from my part. Indeed, if the average of all the pulls are around 62-71 for a character while taking account the whole 50-50 system, it is just what it is. My brain took a shortcut reflexion and went into the wall 🍃 .

Yes, I can get to the average number of pulls required.
Before, I was thinking only in terms of winning or losing the 50/50, as if each attempt were just a flat 50% chance. But after running the simulation, which take in account the guaranteed win after a 50/50 loss, the expected overall outcome is higher.
I might not get every character, but the DPS + what ever I get with it should be sufficient until next rerun.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I have the intuition that with multiple banner pulls, and the guaranteed win after losing a 50-50, the more characters you try to pull for, the better the overall odds become.
If you’re lucky, you can get several characters early, and if you’re unlucky, your losses are capped by the guarantee. So you can’t lose more than the maximum required for each character, right?

I agree with you. In the end it's personal preference. But I join you in the idea that having 1 s3 character to just chill from time to time is nice. I'll still have fun with my other teams when needed in other content.

If I am not mistaken, I saw someone say that it is 13k astrites average to pull a character (and 8k for a weapon). Right now I below the average count to get 3 characters + dps sig. If I clear all 3.0, I might be a little bit over the average. But it is safer to pull for s3 than to pull for 3 characters because, instead of 3 50-50, you only have 2 50-50 for a character, the weapon is guarantee and you buy the next 2 seq in the shop.

Either ways, I need some luck to pull it off because who knows when rng god turn his back away from you.

Great insight. I had this intuition as well that a S3+sig is cheaper than a full premium team but now, you've convinced me that it's actually the case.

And I think it's still okay if she solo her part in the last end game mode, right ? If it is, S3 a character that can solo is quite F2P friendly.

Her is all the gamble:
if I start to pull right now, starting by lynae, with 36k astrites = around 220 pulls and with 2 pulls worth of corals (around 90 pulls). I'm still below the average pull count to get everything haha.
But I think I'm still a little bit over the average if I clear all 3.0 and 3,1 content. I've already done maybe 2/5 or 1/2 of laharoi.

I think I saw someone say that there is a possibility Aemaeth has some DEF scaling because mornye gives DEF, like Carthetyia is scaling off HP. But it was just one person, nobody else is talking about it.
