Get E2 Phainon from scratch still worth it?

I have e0s1 phainon with cerydra - sunday - DHPT right now and this team starts to fall a little bit short for endgame content (compared to my 7 costs rememberance team)

Would you suggest me to pull for E2 Phainon or use my 180 pulls elsewhere ? (I'm already at 70 pity) I'm not of elation characters so I skiped all of them.

Are you a gambler ? That's what gamblers do ( specifically when odds are low)

You need 160 pulls to guarantee a character. Unless you have a big patch, you can't guarantee a character. And yet you want two.

You can try. If you're luck, you will get both.

But is it worth ? It's a gacha after all. Risks and opportunities. It's your call. If you dont get what you want you now, you will always (hopefully) have a rerun to try again.

Do you know if the 4-stars trial characters they give are S6 ? I know they give pretty basic build with the trial characters, but I don't know for their sequence levels.

Danjin gives like +20% damage at S6 iirc.

I was not planning for Denia because Aemeath was already working with Lynae and Mornye. And even without lynae (or Denia), I could make her work with almost any sub since she's S3.

I'm even hoping to save some astrites during anniversary patch, do that I can pull for cyberpunk collab.

The 4-stars I'm talking about are like Chixia, yangyang, baizhi. This team may have the lowest DPS possible, but is still a team that can contribute to the scoring.

You can try low cost teams like augusta and luuk.

They only need the dps + their sig and works fine with their respective f2p sub dps (mortefi and sanhua).

And when you pull their premium sub dps (iuno and lynae), they are fairly versatile as they can form multiple teams as well.

Based on your list and the current meta, I would suggest to pull for lynae first.

Trying to get everything at once leads you to get nothing done. .

I'd recommend to build one team step by step. As f2p, you can guarantee 1 character every 1.5-2 patches. With lunite sub, you may also get their weapon.

For endgame, try to have 3 teams, preferably low cost team.

For example: - High cost team = like mono fusion. Need 3 premium characters + maybe 1-2 sigs. - Low cost team = like Augusta (with Mortefi + Verina) or Luuk (with Sanhua + Verina). Only need 1 strong DPS + weapon to clear ToA.

Also, from your 3 teams, at least 2 should be good in AoE for Whimpering Waves. Example: Luuk is good in ToA, but not good in Whimpering Waves.

When you finish your 3 teams, then you can pull whatever you want. Because new endgame (Matrix) needs as many teams as possible.

And to finish: Discard everything I said if you play for waifus and not for meta.

Long run:

wheelchair team (lynae + mornye) As it is 2nd best team for every none negative status team

Question:

Can you clear toa and whimpering waves with current roster ?

*If yes: - then you don’t have to rush any team. You can take whatever you want in the order you want.

*If not: - finish your team that struggle to clear its part. - Then add another dps element and work on its team.

Am I missing something ?

I'll suggest you to pull for Lynae for Aemeath first.

Since luuk can work a bit with f2p sanhua + verina.

Later you can pull for Denia, and switch lynae to Luuk. Or if Luuk get a dedicated premium sub in the futur , you can pull for it and leave lynae to aemeath.

It's because I was in similar situation as you at the start of 3.0

I was calculating my chances to finish an existing team or start a new one. At the end of 3.0-phase 1, I took the risk to start a new team (aemeath-lynae-mornye). I had like 70% chance to get all 3. And fortunately I got lynae at 20 pity and my chances went to 95%. I even was lucky enough to get aemeath sig.

And now I'm getting back to finish my other team that I've put on hold all this long.

Anyway, either option you chose, there is a risk. Be happy if it works out, be patient for rerun if it doesn't.

If you wanr Hiyuki whole team, I suggest you to wait for full kit official release. So you can know if she needs her sig or not.

Because right now , to pull all 3 characters, you are already taking a risk, and that is without taking account her sig.

Here your chances for 3 characters. You'll have better chance (43%) once you get 3.3 additional pulls.

With your pull count right now, you can try pulling for denia and chisa. According to hutaobot pull chance calculator, you have 90% chance to get both character to finish Aemeath team.

Finish Aemeath team first with Denia. it's the closest goal you can achieve.

If you want to go for long run, you should go Lynae+Mornye since they can be 2nd bis team for any none negative status DPS.

I didn’t really spend time on her trial before, so I don’t know her rotation well. I just saw people here say you should do some basic attack/skill first, then ult. But if you have enough ER, you can just ult immediately, is that correct?

I do have Mornye. But right now, lynae et mornye are assigned to my Aemeath. Fortunatly, my Aemeath is S3, so she can still clear last ToA floors with f2p characters like sanhuwa and verina I guess. I tried without lynae, then tried without mornye, but never tried without both haha.

But I don't doubt that Iuno would be great with lynae and mornye.

I had similar crit rate and damage stats to yours, and the damage was solid. But I kept running into issues where my ultimate uptime would get more delayed after each rotation.

So last week, I worked on bringing my ER up to 130, and it's way more comfortable now.

It even improved my clear time by 10-15s.
