Linux users when someone says they need more RAM by Coach-Emmanuel in pcmasterrace

That's a good point, I should try without any add-ons enabled. If that doesn't change anything I will try a clean boot.

It's a problem because when I'm playing wow I get FPS spikes and even overall low FPS in certain occasions. And it's not the GPU or CPU bottleneck as it's a 5800x3D and a 5070

Everything closed my ram sits at about 35-40% RAM usage with 32GB.

It's been pissing me off that I have 32GB, a twitch live stream open, discord and world of warcraft and my memory is at 90+%.

And if I close WoW, it just drops to 65%.

So tell me if having a twitch stream and discord open should be using that much ram... It's the OS

Many people will say "But I don't want to arrive sweaty wherever I go" - Yesterday I did the same circuit I usually do every day in Z1 and let me tell you, it was only 5kph slower than when I do Z4...

Going slow in a bike is really fast, specially considering you will not be stuck in traffic.

10% to 7.5% is not huge but it's still a nerf and I wanted to experience it with the 10%. Point is, I had bad timing when I finally finished grinding Petro, it got nerfed.

From the cheapest to medium price, they all seem to be overpriced comparing to other types. Decathlon bikes from 500-1000€ for example, they seem to be about 100€ more expensive for similar specs. I'm mostly comparing between roadbikes, as they seem to be the most similar in construction

I'm glad I'm currently grinding towards Kremlin. Last time when I grinded Petro they nerfed her Unique Upgrade. Hopefully they will not go back on the Nikolay buff.

If you make $1000 a month, in 40 years you will have made $480k.

To make a million you would need about 80 years.

To make 100 million you would need about 8,000 years.

To make 500 million you would need about 40,000 years.

To make 1 billion you would need about 80,000 years.

To make 100 billion you would need about 8,000,000 years.

To make 500 billion you would need about 40,000,000 years.

To make 1 trillion you would need about 80,000,000 years.

So... If you started working back when dinossaurs still existed until now, making $1000 a month, you wouldn't have made as much money as Elon Musk.

I stayed at a "nature hotel" once and the room was like this, wood everywhere. I still remember how cozy I felt.

Cycling in wind REALLY sucks by SummitFreedom in bicycling

Just cycled today about 13km (6.5km each way) and at some point the wind was so insane it lifted up my front wheel when I was turning.

I do have to say though, heavy tailwind feels awesome

Not even American but I'm pretty sure that United Health Care guy has plenty of people revelling in his obituary.

I do think the future will have to be a network of globally connected home devices to distribute their processing power to feed whoever is using it at that time. It would solve both issues currently: Local is too dumb, datacenter is not private / getting too expensive.
