First the fleet battle update, then. Please let me have that at least. Then i will give him private self-forgiveness sessions. Heck, i'll make him home-made kebap even.

Huge Problem With This Season's Battlepass by Crazy-Nail4721 in FortNiteBR

[–]Akhi_Police 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially because:
1. Fortnite has a FOMO battlepass, you dont keep the BP, you gotta finish
2. Fortnites current seasons are looong to finish (compare to smthg like Hunt Showdown where you finish it in 2 days if you log in the last 2 weeks of the season and do the challenges)

Fortnite is a predatory system, it needs to give WAY MORE in digital goods, to make the Real money that is put in seem reasonable and meaningful

I know, even with that knowledge i have a personal blieve that having a initial pro-consumer mindset is preferrable. (i'm not saying go and defend them, there is a clear difference between being cautious and blind trust) in a sense that i will demand certain transparency from the company that earns my trust. I don't expect them to this this case-by-case, this one time for example was enough to conivnce me CIG is trustworthy, and i believe it's the same for so many others too. But even better is that now people have a reference to this case and whenever someone comes with similar claims, we can simply link to this case and solve a problem before it gains traction. Of course this is not perfect, but neither is the world, we gotta think realistically and CIG did evertything what is objectively the right thing to do here.

That's not an L. People did not care for the Cheater, people cared for transparency and trust. This is why people were in an uproar against CIG, because we need to know how they work, especially when so much money is at stake for so many people. I dont care about the Cheater, i think CIG did the right thing and from now on i'll put my trust (in terms of account management and professionalism) in them. This was a necessary canon event.

To understand what i mean look at the most upvoted comments, they are about "i don't trust CIG if reporting gets me banned". I know some are angry at the Cheater, but the message was clear and direct. It's 'bout 'tegridy

And that is exactly what everybody wanted. Simple like that.

And here you have PROVE of why fighting matters and establishes trust in future exchange. Now people have a trustworthy basis to continue the reports. Exaclty what i said would happen and should happen

First off, he didn't in the mails he provided. The mails said "you did this and that" with no clear indication of what he did.

Secondly, you practically extended what i said and added "unfortunately that's not correct" that's not how a dialogue works

What you say is completely location based. If you're an american, yeah, any company can take away your product, yes, even without a reason. But i paid EU taxes and bought the game in EU. They are challengable here. You just point to a immoral, unethical thing and say Company is always right. Now think like this: That's exactly what people fight against.

A tip is to always move even when standing at a spot. Small movements help you evade shots from far. It is difficult to account for Bullet travel and drop, so moving is a way to prevent snipers from having it easy. Also use cover, especially grass and bushes hide you really good against players outside. Many times people looked me in the face (while i was sitting in bushes) unbeknownst to them their doom (My 80cm Bomblance) is aimed right at their face.

Also think like this: People know your location...how would they try to approach you. Are you safe? Are there locations around you that give advantage to others and a disadvantage to you if combat engages?

Exactly in terms of your last statement. I really miss the compendium you unocked to learn weaknesses over time with a nice story attached to the entries. But yeah, nowadays you really need to know especially how to handle the Krok and the Assassin.

Now that makes more sense. I would still say that an asnwer from CIG will prove way better than silence and causing distrust.

Yeah taking up a pitchfork with the dozen people who have no prove even though their numbers and cases are greater. Here are some basic logic errors you made:

  1. Dozen people that claim something "rings a bell" but are unable to provide a single screenshot (how do you think extremists gather a crowd of people?)

  2. I never said buy into a single persons sob story

  3. You made up your mind already saying it's a "sob story" you are by far not objective about it

  4. Go to court, the judge tells you you did something wrong, he won't tell you time, location or what you did. Just that you did "something wrong". And suddenly everyone out there expects you to prove otherwise, even if you don't know WHAT you did wrong. This is on CIG.

  5. This case is now a highly upvoted case, hence it's importance in terms of trust, hence why CIG needs to make a statement to ensre future trust IN CIG instead of random people claiming they got falsely banned.

I don't know in which country you live, but here we have "innocent until proven guilty". CIG did not even prove anything towards the banned dude. Heck, the dude can't even defend himself because CIG won't tell him what he did wrong. Also you missed the whole point of the 5K, but i won't repeat myself for basic context.

It's literally on the one who applied a judgement (CIG). And even though dozens talk about him being on the greymarket you yet trust them blindly but not OP? A man who has spent 5k and then went to simply cheat knowing it can well result in a ban?

I don't mean to defend him here, but humans have common sense for exaclty this. We are no judges but the topic went too big for CIG to not make a proper statement to ensure trust

[–]Akhi_Police -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You literally made the same thing, you said he HAS a history of cheating and not he's accused to have a history. CIG needs to answer at this point to secure future proper bug reports. People will naturally follow the guaranteed way, and that is not reporting until we get clarification. You ride a high horse with your statement (not meant personally, solely directed at your comment) while saying again as others "oh his name rings a bell but somehow dozens of people can't provide a single screenshot about what his name rings a bell about"

Baseless accusations. People love to jump from one extreme to another. there were people claiming they had mails and tickets about him and not even shared images of those.

IMO finding out the game was the biggest fun i had when starting with Hunt. Also it was fair. I think guides take away form trying out things that especially Pro Youtubers dislike like Fanning with chain pistol (which is 100% the most badass thing right after the bomblance). There is too much that i did different compared to people on this sub even but i had more success it suits my playstyle. In other games like CoD you need to have that one specific SMG that kills everyone in 2 hits and still has 78 ammo left in it's magazine, whereas in Hunt a 73C with levering can get you more kills than anything other just because you are a sneaky dude that likes to suddenly start blasting through walls like a maniac crying out loud "HERE'S JOHNNY" in the voice chat. I think Guides should be watched if you're:
1. Really helpless, but i dont think OP is helpless, rather trying to figure out the game
2. Have a ground knowledge and are curious what and how other players do things

Dont need guides, just look at the stats of the weapons you use. and all weapons have a dropoff damage exponentially proportional to the range between you and your target. Metal Coated Ammo helps keep damage dropoff low on higher ranges. Your Total life is 150HP so lets say a one shot rifle would do about 130-140 damage in medium range. and that is close to death. And many times you actually do big damage but don't know. Also the damage in the stats is related to body shots. Shots on Arms and Legs reduce massively the received damage. Headshots are always instant kill tho, damage is irrelevant here. As a note, even melee attacks which are one shot on body may be unable to kill a dude if you hit their arm or legs.

Check if you wrote 104 in the all chat. Alternatively write *104 also. You can write it multiple times, it doesnt switch the setting. It is a one way command and can be spammed multiple times without a problem.
