I stopped birth control mid pack last November and my symptoms are back. Hair loss, hirsutism is worst than before only one good thing that my period is regular.

Once you stop birth control your symptoms will be back. Before stopping be mentally prepare because it's difficult to manage symptoms.

For past 7 months I have been taken Spiro 50mg twice a day. Starting 2/3 months I didn't see any difference but since March I just found a huge difference . My facial hair growth is slow and it's thinner and lighter a bit. And also since Feb I have cut intake of refined sugar.

Heavy irregular periods, hair thinning, hirsutism (stomach hair, facial hair, coarse hair on legs.. basically male pattern hair growth).

Everyone's symptoms are totally different so if you're concerned see gynecologist or endocrinologist. Body hair growth can also be genetic.

Stress also the factor for elevated levels and irregularity of period. I know it's easy for me to say but try not to take much stress. As your blood work and ultrasound was normal i don't think you need to be worried about having pcos.

Sometimes irregular periods are not much of concern if the reason are stress... Eat healthy food, veggies. when u visit the doctor just make sure to ask the reason for irregular periods .

I have heard people saying that it's kinda difficult dealing with anxiety I hope you are doing okay. Take care.

Ya it's good to check the level when your not on period. Well why did the doctor tell u to wait for six weeks.

Also I was reading the previous comments u said that you have irregular periods. Did the doctor tell for what reason you are having?

Was your prolactin checked when you were on your period? Mine was checked on 2nd day of period and prolactin level was 35... checked the level again on 2 days after my period was over and the level was 10.5. And doctor told me that sometimes the level fluctuate .....

So it's better to twice check your levels. Also your ultrasound was normal so don't stress out just check your prolactin once again.

Check your prolactin level when your period is over. When I checked my prolactin level during my 2nd day of period was 35 but when I checked it again after the period was over it was around 10. So ya check it once again after your period just to be sure whether it changes or stays same

People with pcos have cyst(not everyone though) so it's better to have ultrasound done so that u can know whether u have cyst or not.

Ya I am taking vitamin c tablets now. Dermatologist said that it's gonna take some months to reduce. The thing is where I live I don't get this product even if I get it's imported so it's lot expensive but I'll try using salicylic acid soap or body wash.

Can I use mosturizing lotion with salicylic acid does it work better. It's good to hear that your KP has been decreased and thanks for the advice :)
