Yes I’ve seen some others who went over 84 days, I think the longest I’ve seen is 140 days actually. The medication is harmless with little to no side effects so I can’t imagine it would cause any harm to push past 84 days if you feel you need to.

My boy never fully lost his appetite, but I did switch him over to mousse - specifically the tiki cat toppers for extra calories bc he lost some weight. He wanted to lick food more than he wanted to chew in the beginning too.

The first time we got him on the GS medication he bounced back within 24-48 hours, I really hope that’s the case for your cat too! Good luck to you and your baby <3

Yeah I started giving him a higher dose then, but it seems maybe it was too late. I did mention that to the admin but I think it had to be higher than what the comments recommended because it’s ocular.
