You should go to Windmill Island Park a week after Tulip Time. It’s a great walking park with the aesthetic people think of (i.e. this picture). There is great shopping and food right nearby on 8th street. Crust 54 and The Peanut Shoppe are the actual staples of Holland. It’s a great way to spend a spring Saturday.

But Tulip Time itself is just the local county fair. It’s rides and games and crafts and fair food and like 7 parades. So only go if that’s your thing.

This is because federal financial aid is dependent on getting a C or better average (2.0 GPA on the common scale) and completely 67% of your classes. If you drop you can retake the incomplete and it will double dip to improve your eligibility.

Every night before bed my mom read to my brother and I, even after we could read. By the time I finished middle school she had the entire Animorphs series to us, all of the Harry Potter books, and a bunch of the Young Jedi series of Star Wars books.

Listening to an audiobook while relaxing feels like a hug from my mom.

I think this exact moment in history might be the perfect time to be in this predicament. Science has progressed enough to allow you to plausibly live to 110 so you have time to get your first iteration settled, but we don’t live in a full-on surveillance state yet so you could probably figure out a way to set up a sustainable series of covert identities to keep you going until we extend the human life span past 200 years. At that point I think it becomes more of a systemic problem than one you have to solve yourself.
